A Comparative Study On The Business Strategy And Financial Performance Of Quanjude And Xi'an Catering

With the rapid development of China's economic and social division of labor specialization,the demand for dining out is increasing rapidly,and the catering service industry is developing rapidly.After the baptism of history and culture,China's time-honored brand of food and beverage,in the face of escalating consumer demand,changes in the food and beverage market and international brand competition,the operating situation is not ideal.Many businesses are in decline,or even out of the stage of history.This paper selects two typical catering enterprises in Quanjude and Xi'an,and compares their management strategies and financial results.Through the study of the management strategy,we expect to find the important factors that affect the development of the enterprise,so as to enhance the competitiveness of the traditional and time-honored enterprises and gain better development in the new market competition.This paper is divided into six chapters:the first chapter is the introduction,introducing the research background of the thesis,a brief description of the reason,the research content and research framework;the second chapter mainly introduces the current development situation of catering industry and traditional time-honored catering enterprises;the third chapter respectively introduces the situation of Quanjude and Xi'An Catering companies and in recent years the main business strategy;the fourth chapter is to analyze the 3D structure of the two company's financial statements,to analyze and evaluate the financial performance;the fifth chapter is the analysis of financial index system of the two companies.From profitability,asset liability management,cash use efficiency,creative ability,growth ability,business and financial risk,the value creation ability,financial strategic matrix in terms of further in-depth analysis of enterprise management and the status of development;The sixth chapter is the conclusion and suggestion of this paper.Through the analysis of differences on business strategy and financial performance,we can get the following conclusion:In the catering industry weak situation,Quanjude through product innovation,influential brand marketing strategy,timely adjustment of new measures to keep the operating income,sustained and healthy development of the business and financial indicators;Xi'an Catering in the face of market competition and changes,business strategy adjustment is not timely,the implementation effect is weak,resulting in operating income continued to decline sharply,the deterioration of financial performance,management situation is not optimistic.
