Purpose:The main purpose of this study is to enhance project performance in fast-moving and most advanced information system projects.This can be achieved through the balance between work and social life of project team members.Methodology:In this study,survey method based on the adapted questionnaire has used to collect data from respondents.Then the structural equation modeling through the use of partial least square structure equation modeling(PLS-SEM)has used to find the accurate results.Results:Results of this study shows the dependency as professional activity has a positive and significant effect on project performance.Trust has been mediating effect between dependency and project performance while the social ties have not a significant and moderating effect between dependency and project performance.Conclusion:It is concluded that dependency as professional activity can enhance project performance.If employees and processes are depended on each other,then they have more coordination and communication with each other.So,it will enhance the trust between employees who will ultimately enhance the project performance.Implementation:This study can be practically implemented in the information system projects to enhance their team performance and also this study opens the new horizons in literature.
