At present,our country is in the period of socialist market economy in-depth development,is also the key period of the original economic structure adjustment,the government in view of the social public interest not only through policies and regulations to affect enterprises,but also on the micro level to provide social system foundation support for enterprise development.The development of enterprises still depends to a large extent on obtaining resources from the system.Law and regulation,code of conduct and cultural cognition tendency play an important role in the strategic choice of enterprises.With the accelerating pace of China's power supply structure adjustment,domestic environmental pollution has become increasingly acute and environmental protection issues have become increasingly severe.The country is currently vigorously advocating the use of clean energy.With the continuous improvement of national environmental protection and the introduction of relevant policies,coal-fired generating units are gradually phased out.This has brought many challenges to the survival and development of companies that rely on coal-fired power generation.Companies must take measures to deal with the problems and allow them to achieve sustainable development.As environmental issues have emerged in recent years,there are few studies on the strategic reactions of power generation companies under pressure from the environmental protection system.In the face of changes in the external environment,companies themselves should respond immediately to adapt to changes in the environment.The direction of future business development.Based on this,this paper develops a strategic response model for power generation companies under institutional pressure.This paper selected the last Beijing-based shut-down coal-fired unit,the Huaneng Beijing Thermal Power Plant,as a case study company,and conducted a series of investigations on the company's institutional pressures to find out the strategic response of the company under institutional pressure.What are the direct influencing factors,how do these factors affect the strategic decision-making of the company,and what kind of strategic response decisions the company adopts in the face of institutional pressures? Through the research of this paper,it provides the theoretical basis and reasonable suggestions for the strategic response mode of the case enterprises in the face of institutional pressure,so that the enterprises can realize the strategic transformation smoothly when the external environment changes,and they can achieve healthy and sustainable development in the market.At the same time,it also provides reference value for the development model of the same industry.
