The Empirical Study On The Influence Of Government Intervention On Household Consumption Rate

Consumer behavior is not a separate individual behavior,from the angles of residents' consumption and as well as the relationship of the national economy,the quality of economic development,economic operation,economic life and economic structure and so on all has certain influence.Therefore,realization of consumption of ascension cannot simply rely on market mechanism,needs the government to a reasonable consumer behavior intervention,improve the residents' consumption behavior of the defect,make social and economic development and residents' consumption to form a virtuous cycle.First of all,this article through to our country in 1997-1997 the ratio of consumption to the longitudinal time sequence analysis,concludes that our country residents consumption rate during the period of 1997-2000 basic remains the same,and from 2000-2000 during the first rise after falling;In China in 2007-2016 by the ratio of consumption to the horizontal comparative analysis between provinces,it is concluded that economic development is relatively poor in the western region has the highest ratio of consumption to,economic development is relatively good in the east,the ratio of consumption is not the highest,so the consumption level of the eastern region needs to be promoted.Through to our country of consumption and 2010 similar to developing countries and developed countries in 1997-1997,"the Brics" compare analysis,it is concluded that the inhabitants of our country around the world also to have certain consumption rate is low;In China in 1997-2016 by the degree of government intervention in the longitudinal analysis time series,it is concluded that the degree of government intervention in the existence of periodic increase,the macroeconomic adjustment is becoming more and more deeply;In China in 2007-2016 through horizontal comparative analysis between degree of government intervention in the provinces,it is concluded that poor economic development degree of the western region has the highest degree of government intervention,economic development is relatively good in the east of the level of government intervention is the lowest.Similar degree of government intervention in China and 2010 developing countries and developed countries during 1997-2016,"the Brics",in contrast,it is concluded that the degree of government intervention in the world is not high,in the middle and lower levels,but the growth rate faster,the gap with other countries.Subsequently,this paper studies the influence of government intervention on the consumption rate of residents through the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical analysis.Theoretical analysis it is concluded that the government can through economic intervention,administrative intervention and legal intervention methods such as the ratio of consumption to regulate and guide,in which the government is given priority to with economic intervention,economic intervention can through income and precautionary savings two mechanisms affect residents' consumption,income transmission mechanism is: G?=>Y?=>C?,preventive conduction mechanism of savings for G?=>S?=>C?.In empirical analysis,through the collection of China's 31 provinces,municipalities directly under the central government,autonomous region in 2007-2016 panel data of 2 VIF is based test,unit root test,differential GMM estimation,autocorrelation test and Sargan test etc.,the degree of government intervention in the empirical analysis to our country the influence of the ratio of consumption,finally it is concluded that quantitative data,the empirical analysis results and the result corresponds to the above theoretical analysis,namely: the degree of government intervention has a positive effect on the ratio of consumption,can be achieved by reasonable government intervention to improve residents' consumption in China.In addition,it is concluded that the issue of consumption,urbanization rate,children's dependency ratio,elderly dependency ratio and per capita disposable income and consumption also positively to relationship,and the rate of inflation and the ratio of consumption to an inverse relationship.Finally,on the basis of the above theory and empirical analysis on how to under the background of government intervention,puts forward relevant policy Suggestions to improve the ratio of consumption: 1,strengthen the government spending,cultivate consumer willingness;2.Strengthen the advancement of urbanization and improve the disposable income of the whole population;3.Improve the income level of urban and rural residents.
