Today,the SMEs produce a very significant component in the economy of Vietnam.The SMEs are the main drive through which stimulate the development of jobs in the Vietnam?s social and economy.The process of developing of the nations is directly connected with the consolidation and the increase of the private firms where SMEs play a dominant role.The increasing of the SMEs in service activities,agriculture,manufacturing for example,has been seen as the main motivation of the growth and significant contribute to the developing of Vietnam?s economy.Though there has some differences in the influences of SMEs on the nations' economy activities,SMEs are very crucial in the economy of Vietnam.These firms produce more services and product variety with less minor investment;provide much employment with lower funding costs;are less influenced from fluctuations of economy;change themselves better to the need changes and difference.These firms are also more tendency to the innovation on technology;produce stabilize inter-regional development;reduces the difference in income among region in the extent of country;stimulate,directly and foster savings of people;are key support forces and the partners toward large industrial firms.Therefore,finding the effective way to promote sustainable development and competitive advantages of SME?s takes a very significant role for both their benifit and for the development of economy.in Vietnam.To attain and maintain a competitive advantage for an organization in the long term,many researches mentioned the constructions of organizational learning model and organizational culture as the important solution.In such context,this thesis will focus on examining the influences of collaborative culture(that is widely accepted as core values of organizational culture)and specific aspects of organizational learning on competitive advantage of the small and medium manufacturing enterprises.Structural equations modeling(SEM)is applied to test degree of influence of independent variables has on dependent variables through using data collected from 236 participants at 86 small and medium manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam.The thesis does not just estimate the direct influences of collaborative culture on competitive advantage,but also explore more specifically the impact mechanisms by analyzing the mediating role of organizational learning.The findings of our thesis pointed out that model of organizational learning acts as a mediator in the link between a culture of collaboration and competitive advantage.The results also confirm with evidence that collaborative culture practices will bring significant effects/influences to competitive advantage directly or indirectly based on improving specifics dimension of organizational learning.Based on new findings,the thesis positively provide useful theoretical basis,that can be utilization to identify and analyze correlation between collaborative culture,four specifics aspects of organizational learning and firm?s advantage in competition.Moreover,from a practical perspective,by discussing more deeply about the influences of collaborative culture on specific aspects of organizational learning,which in turn lead to firm?s advantage in competition,the thesis brings more deeply understanding for CEOs/managers about the necessary or key factors/mechenism to encourage and promote SMEs? competitive advantage.In particular,the thesis offers specific solutions for CEOs/managers to successfully perform direction of selected strategy which is differentiation or low cost through their action and though focusing on necessary efforts and directions in right pathway.
