The security market in the last few years is evolving at a rapid pace of change.Security has developed from the traditional basic video recording application to the emerging realms of Artificial Intelligence(AI),Internet of Things(IoT),cloud computing and big data.The demand and requirement for "Safe City" and "Smart City"infrastructures using the previously mentioned developments has helped move security from the basic applications towards the future of networking,high definition and intelligent added functions sometimes known as "AI + Security".The technology has steady become more mature and has become globally acknowledged throughout the security market.The Matthew Effect and Red Ocean competition within the security market has clearly helped to achieve this maturity and development.As a small to medium size enterprise(SME)QVIS has utilized this ever changing technology multi faceted technology to carve out its own path.Using the Political,Economic,Social and Technological(PEST)principle the thesis will critically analyze the external marketing environment QVIS presides.Additionally Porter's Five Forces analysis will be used to analyze the micro environment,looking closely at the threat of new entrants,thereat of substitutes,bargaining power of customers,bargaining power of suppliers and CCTV industry rivalry.Furthermore,SWOT analysis will be used to delve into the detail of QVIS' strengths,weakness,opportunities and threats.Similarly the STP will be used to analyze and identify QVIS' positioning in the security market.Penultimately,the 4Ps will be used to analyze and make the QVIS' 4Ps marketing tactics mix.Finally,the thesis will offer some measures to guarantee the implementation of QVIS marketing strategy and marketing tactics mix.This thesis will ultimately offer the reference and lesson for QVIS' future marketing design.The writer has been working in the security market for more than 10 years.As such this thesis can offer a certain degree of inspiration and clarity for other small and medium enterprises(SMEs).Meanwhile,the wealth of knowledge can offer people a clear and full understanding of Security market place.
