Pakistan is one of the key countries of "the Belt and Road Initiative".Compared with other countries,Pakistan is the only country that is located at the intersection of "Land Silk Road" and "21st Century Maritime Silk Road".Pakistan has unique geographical advantages and strategic significance for China with the development of "the Belt and Road Initiative" and the boost in construction in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.Furthermore,agriculture holds the balance in the growth of the economy in Pakistan.Pakistan is a predominantly agrarian country;There is a broad market space for agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan.This may have a positive effect on promoting the agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan and utilizing the comparative advantage of their agriculture.Therefore,the target of "the Pakistani is identified with the Chinese" proposed by "the Belt and Road Initiative" could be fulfilled efficiently.Moreover,the system of rural land is the foundation of agricultural development.It is very important,therefore,that research on the difference between rural land systems in China and Pakistan is undertaken before developing the agricultural cooperation between the two countries.Analysis between China and Pakistan on the track of development of the rural land system change and evolution,from the Angle of vertical and horizontal combing inductive,analysis of the evolution of rural land system between China and Pakistan and to explore the agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan to provide basic research to support the rural land system.The research offers an analysis based on a literature review with historical perspectives and explores the evolution process of rural land systems in China and Pakistan.It also states the existing problems in the rural land system of China and Pakistan.In addition,to clearly present the existing problems in the rural land systems in China and Pakistan,the research chose three typical cases to examine.These are the rural land systems in Jiangsu province and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China and the rural land system of the Punjab province in Pakistan.These show the similarities and differences between rural land in China and Pakistan and analyze the cases from three different aspects;which are the ownership of rural land,the market of rural land and the regulation of rural land.Moreover,the research will focus on the factors of the rural land system between China and Pakistan.The positive things will be explored,including the broad political consensus on constructing cooperation between China and Pakistan,the Pakistani are identified with the Chinese and the common desire for developing bilateral common demands.On the other hand,the negative aspects will also be analyzed including the discrepancies in the foundations of the rural property rights in China and Pakistan,the differences in the development of rural land market and the safety problems.and utilizing the strengths of rural land in Pakistan.Finally,the countermeasures and suggestions will be presented for serving the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.For instance,improving the top-level design of Chinese government for promoting the agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan,raising the communication of developing plan for agriculture,building the evaluation system and the mechanisms for preventing the agricultural risk of Pakistan,establishing and increasing thesupport for human resources for the agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan.In view of the particularity of the land system in Pakistan,it is conducive to the cooperation between China and Pakistan,especially the land ownership dominated by landlords in the rural land system in Pakistan,such as leasehold risk,land dispute and land security,which have a negative impact on China Pakistan agricultural cooperation.Special attention should be paid to prevention and so on.The aims of conducting the comparative study of the rural land systems are to guide the development of agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan,avoiding the risks and barriers of bilateral agricultural cooperation;reach the full potential of the agricultural cooperation between China and Pakistan;boost the coordinated development between economic and social benefit;serve the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and "the Belt and Road Initiative" better,and promote the China and Pakistan agricultural cooperation.
