The Impact Of Diversified Management On The Performance Of Agricultural Listed Companies In China

To our country,the importance of agriculture is self-evident.In the No.1 central document of 2018,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has also repeatedly mentioned agriculture and issues relating to agriculture,rural areas,and rural people on the implementation of the strategy of Rural Revitalization,which reflects the importance attached to the development of agriculture in our country.As the leading figure in China's agricultural enterprises,agricultural listed companies play a vital role in the development of China's agricultural modernization.A batch of agricultural listed companies whose development is stable and healthy can not only lead to more efficient and convenient agricultural production and service,but also integrate agriculture better with other industries,giving full play to the largest industrial value of agriculture.With the continuous development of economy in recent years,diversified management has become a trend in various industries.According to the author's observation,the proportion of diversified enterprises in agricultural listed companies of our country is increasing year by year.But not all agricultural enterprises can improve their performance through the method of diversified management.Therefore,it is worth studying and discussing whether diversified management is effective for all enterprises and how the degree of diversified management affects the performance of enterprises.This paper focuses on the impact of diversified management on the performance of agricultural listed companies in China.Taking data of agricultural listed companies in the stock market A from 2012 to 2016 in China as samples,the STATA software is employed to deal with empirical models and data.By analyzing the performance of the agricultural listed companies through the empirical results and proposing policy recommendations on the study results,better achievement can be attained so as to help the agricultural enterprises to realize diversified business practice.Through the analysis of the empirical results,this paper draws the following conclusion:1.When an enterprise is in the low diversification stage,the higher the diversification degree is,the better the performance is;2.The correlation between diversification degree and enterprise performance is not constant.When the level of diversification reaches a certain degree,the correlation between the degree of diversification and performance changes from positive to negative.Therefore,when performing the behavior of diversified management,the present degree of diversification should be clarified so that reasonable management can be conducted so as to help the enterprise achieve healthy and rapid development.
