Economic Growth,Relative Poverty And Distribution Of Wealth

With the development of the economy,the structure of poverty in China has also gradually changed,and the relative poverty caused by the inequitable distribution of wealth has become more and more serious.The article is divided into four parts;the first part explains theoretically the mechanism of relative poverty's impact on economic growth and the mechanism of wealth distribution's impact on relative poverty.The second part establishes a panel threshold model to illustrate the threshold effect of relative poverty on economic growth.This article uses the relative poverty level as the threshold variable,and calculates the relative poverty index based on the income grouping data of each province from 2006 to 2015.The results show that:based on the data of China for the past decade,the overall regression results show that under the influence of factors such as control inputs and technological progress,relative poverty has a negative effect on economic growth,that is,the relative poverty proposed by traditional theories The interval effect of growth has not appeared.The third part establishes the simultaneous equations model.This part uses the wealth distribution index as the core explanatory variable to explore the impact of primary distribution and redistribution on relative poverty.The results show that the price factor in the initial stage of wealth distribution can significantly increase the relative poverty level.In the secondary distribution stage,the increase in government fiscal expenditure can significantly reduce the relative poverty level.The fourth part is the conclusions and policy recommendations section.
