Third party payments first appeared at the end of the twentieth Century,and after the development of e-commerce,the third party payment has reached a relatively mature period,and is widely loved by the masses,and has become the most mainstream mode of payment.As the third party payment has expanded faster and faster in recent years,the types and scale of business are becoming larger and larger,which has brought impact to the intermediary business of commercial banks to a certain extent,but it also brings opportunities to the development of commercial banks' intermediary business.This paper also studies the middle business of third party payment and commercial bank from two angles of challenge and opportunity,and hopes to find a suitable balance point to make the harmonious and healthy development of both sides to develop by studying the relationship between the third party and commercial banks.This paper makes a detailed description of the current development of the third party payment and the intermediary business of commercial banks with a large number of charts.The latest three quarter data in 2017 show the overall scale of the third party payment industry,the proportion of the institutions in the overall market share,and the ratio of the consumption types of the third party to each other.In the last ten years,the data of the middle business income of ten commercial banks,the proportion of the middle business to the business income,and the proportion of the income scale of each sub business account for the overall scale of the middle business.There are various types of third party payment services,including bank card receipts,prepaid card issuance,mobile payment,Internet payment and so on.The size of the third party payment is mainly concentrated on the third party Internet payment and the third party mobile payment.The total amount of the two party can reach more than 80% of the total business scale of the third party.In this paper,the third party Internet payment and the third party mobile payment are used to replace the third party payment,and the influence of the two on the intermediary business of the commercial banks is explored.Since the third party mobile payments began to rise since 2011,this paper selects third party internet payments and third party mobile payments from the first quarter of 2011 to the third quarter of 2017 for a total of 27 quarterly data.The commercial bank has selected ten banks,which are the ten banks in the forefront of the scale,influence and middle business development.They are industrial bank,agricultural bank,China bank,construction bank,trade bank,investment promotion,Pudong,Xingye and Huaxia.It is also selected from the first quarter of 2011 to the three quarter of 2017 for a total of 27 quarters of the intermediary business income data.Using EVIEWS 9 Software for empirical analysis,we hope to find out the internal relationship between the two.Through the empirical results,it is concluded that the impact of the ten commercial banks on the third party Internet payment from the big to the small is the Industrial Bank,the Agricultural Bank,the Bank of China,the Construction Bank,the trade bank,the investment investment and the China.However,Pudong development,Xingye and CITIC had no obvious impact.By the impact of the third party mobile payment from big to small,Huaxia Bank,ICBC,CCB,ABC,Bank of China,Bank of communications and investment.Similarly,Pudong development,Xingye,and CITIC Bank were not affected by the third party mobile payment.Through theoretical research,it can be found that the development of third party payment mainly affects the settlement business,financial consultant business,financial leasing business and securities underwriting business in the middle business,which will affect the overall income of the intermediary business of commercial banks.Finally,on the basis of the theoretical and empirical results,the following four suggestions are put forward on the middle business of commercial banks.First,we should take innovation as the core,develop more convenient new products,and develop their advantages.Secondly,the pricing should be more reasonable and do not imitate the mode of money burning by Internet companies.Pricing on the basis of ensuring income;again,innovation scene construction,improve user experience;finally,use large data and other information technology to innovate products and marketing,timely grasp the customer dynamics.
