Industrial And Commercial Bank X Branch Based On 5M1E Analysis Method Research On Internal Audit Quality Control

With the rapid development of internet finance,the operation pressure of commercial banks is increasing day by day.In the face of a severe external business environment,the improvement of commercial banks' operating efficiency and risk control capabilities must be achieved by improving corporate governance and internal control.In recent years,financing scandal of commercial bank has occurred from time to time,revealing that there are so many problems existing in the internal control and internal audit of commercial banks.The internal audit of commercial banks has a lot of interest relations,and the internal audit quality control is the soul of internal audit,which is equally important to stakeholders.On the basis of the board of directors,management and external audits,internal audit has become the fourth cornerstone of bank governance.Therefore,paying attention to the internal audit of commercial banks and strengthening the internal audit quality control of commercial banks have become important topics for scholars to study.This paper takes ICBC's X branch as the research object and starts from the status of X branch's internal audit quality control to understand its organizational structure,personnel structure,and business process,and then combining with the 5M1 E analysis method to analyze the current status of X-branch internal audit quality control by people,machines,materials,measurement,methods,and environment,identifying the factors that affect the internal audit quality control of X branch,and making evaluations to reveal the problems exposed by X branch in the internal audit quality control,and propose six items of optimization measures to address these issues,they are building a multi-level internal audit team,promoting off-site audit technology development,using big data analysis technology to lock important risk,expanding internal audit function,improving actual effect of problems,and strengthening audit culture construction.It is hope to improve the internal audit quality control of X branch.
