In recent years.the idea of'One Belt and One Road' has become China's new business card and freight transport market once again ushers in the golden time and the favorable opportunities for development.As the country's important infrastructure,the national economy of the great arteries and the mass of transport,railway plays a very important role in the modern transportation system meanwhile the competition in the freight transport market is becoming increasingly fierce.Because of large fluctuations in the market shares of railway freight transportation.Railway needs to have a stable supply of goods in the fierce competition and to obtain more freight market shares,which has become major tasks today.This paper makes a systematic description with regard to customer satisfaction.railway freight transportation and service quality;conducts an analysis on the current market conditions of China's railway freight transportation as well as some key issues in providing service;introduces in detail the two evaluation methods:SERVQUAL and SERVPERF,which are commonly used at present and carries out a study on the railway freight transportation by referring to some technical literature summaries given by relative scholars.Afterwards,a study is made on the part of the customer so as to establish an index system for service quality evaluation,which contains 6 dimensions and 22 sub-indexes;A questionnaire survey on the quality of railway freight transportation service based on customer satisfaction is worked out by interviewing and investigation;finally by choosing China Railway Express as object of empirical study,basic data is obtained through questionnaire survey,and a statistic data analysis is carried out and tries to calculate the percentage rate in six dimensions and sub-indexes,by which we get the correlated points relating to service quality,which helps to make a correct evaluation on the service quality.As a result,the issues are identified in service management in China Railway Express.Relevant suggestions put forward to improve the service quality.Based upon a large number of survey data and combined with the actual situation of customer demand for freight transportation enterprises,the paper puts forward the relevant service quality index system and an objective method is applied for the evaluation,which provides a certain reference and experience for other freight companies in the service management.
