China's Direct Investment In Russia And Chino-russian Trade Relations

With the continuous advancement of economic globalization and regional integration,international sub-regional cooperation has become more frequent and has increasingly become an important way for cooperation among countries.In 2014,the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" strategy promoted by China established the goal of sub-regional cooperation for the common development of China,Russia,and Mongolia to strengthen investment and trade cooperation among the three countries.In the past 40 years since China's reform and opening up,the rapid development of foreign investment and foreign trade has been an important thrust for the sustainable development of China's economy.At the same time,China's position in international investment and international trade has become more and more important.Therefore,investment and trade are studied.The relationship can lay the foundation for the future development and transformation of China's foreign investment and foreign trade.This article uses Russia as the target country and China as the capital exporting country to study the relationship between China's direct investment in Russia and Chino-Russian trade.China and Russia are geographically adjacent and have a long history.Russia is rich in mineral resources,oil,natural gas and other resources and energy.It is recognized as a world leader in energy,science and technology,and a large military.It has strong scientific research strength,but it lags behind in logistics facilities and finance.China is the largest processing industry base in the world.With strong capabilities,the Internet finance and logistics industry has developed rapidly,but resources and energy are scarce.The demand for minerals,natural gas and other energy sources is extremely high.It can be seen that the investment and trade between China and Russia are highly complementary.Therefore,studying the relationship between China's direct investment in Russia and Chino-Russian trade can provide a basis for the future strategic transformation of investment and trade cooperation between China and Russia so as to give full play to their complementary effects.This article is divided into five chapters.The first chapter mainly discusses the research background and research significance.The second chapter is mainly about the understanding of alternative theories and complementary theories of investment and trade,as well as reviewing and combing relevant literature at home and abroad.The third chapter analyzes the development history of China's direct investment in Russia and Chino-Russian trade,and studies its main characteristics and qualitative analysis of therelationship between the two,and concludes that China's direct investment in Russia has a bearing on the development of Chino-Russian trade.Strong promotion effect.The fourth chapter uses empirical analysis to verify the qualitative analysis of the previous chapter.First,the cointegration test is used to conclude that there is at least one co-integration relationship between China's direct investment in Russia and Chino-Russian trade;and secondly,the use of Granger.The causality test shows that China's direct investment in Russia is a Granger cause of Chino-Russian trade,China's export trade with Russia,and China's import trade with Russia;finally,the use of variance decomposition analysis to draw China's direct investment in Russia against China and Russia The promotion of trade development is mainly conducted through three ways: reverse import,export lead,and demand expansion.The force of reverse import is far greater than the combined effect of export-induced and expanded demand,that is,China's direct investment in Russia.The complementary effect of China's import trade with Russia is greater than the complementary effect of China's direct investment with Russia and China's trade with Russia.In the fifth section,based on the results of empirical analysis,we analyze the constraints of China's direct investment in Russia and the development of Chino-Russian trade,and propose targeted policy recommendations based on the complementary relationship between the two to fully realize investment.The complementary effect with trade.
