The Influence Of Rural Labor Transfer On The Decision-making Of Agricultural Machinery Socialization Service

The elimination of the urban-rural dual system and the acceleration of urbanization in rural areas have caused the rural population to accumulate in cities and towns unceasingly,and the relatively higher non-agricultural income and more perfect urban construction in cities and towns are attracting a rapid shift in the rural labor force,especially the high young labor force whose ability to work are better in all aspects.Although the urbanization of the rural labor force has greatly increased the income level of the rural households,and gradually relieved people's humiliation of many places and small populations,at present,due to the massive loss of rural labor force,the quality of agricultural labor has faced a huge challenge in the process of agricultural production.In recent years,socialization.services for agricultural machinery have been actively implemented,and agricultural machinery services can liberate people and animal husbandry to a certain extent.Therefore,under the background of rural labor transfer,the behavior of farmer household socialization services for agricultural machinery directly affects the agricultural production in China.The promotion of agricultural socialized services is an important way to promote the development of agricultural mechanization,and agricultural mechanization is the only way to achieve agricultural modernization.The promotion of agricultural socialized services has greatlly increased labor productivity and land productivity,promoted stable grain production and steadily increased agricultural production efficiency,and fundamentally changed the traditional agricultural production methods in China.Therefore,analyzing the key influencing factors of farmer's socialized service selection behavior of agricultural machinery is of great significance to the transformation of the agriculture from traditiona to modernization.This study uses the 277 micro-survey data of Xiantao City to investigate the situation of family labor force transfer and the adoption of farmer socialization services,and uses the probit and logit binary discrete selection model to analyze the labor transfer to farmer socialization service decision-making.And further subdividing the labor transfer model,based on two perspectives:the homogeneity of the labor transfer(whether the family labor transfer occurs)and the heterogeneity of the labor transfer(whether the family labor is transferred locally or from another province).The empirical results show that,first,family labor transfer and off-site transfer have a significant positive impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up,sowing,and harvesting stages,but the local transfer of labor force do not have a significant impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up,sowing,and harvesting stages;second,the age of the household head and the number of land plots have a significant negative impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up stages;third,whether the main productive forces of agriculture are women has a significant positive impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up and harvesting stages;fourth,the arable land area has a significant positive impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up and sowing stages;fifth,whether there are someone having received agricultural training has a significant negative impact on the choice of farmer socialization services in the plowing up and harvesting stages.Finally,to improve the socialized service level of agricultural machinery,corresponding policy recommendations are given:ensuring agricultural output,orderly guiding the transfer of rural labor force,constructing an information platform for land circulation,promoting large-scale planting of farmers,adapting to local conditions,focusing on local agricultural products,and grasping agricultural machinery.The"shortcomings" of socialized services are subject to policy tilt,establishment of agricultural machinery service transaction information platform,standardization of agricultural machinery service market development,emphasis on agricultural machinery research and development,and good hardware reserves for the development of agricultural machinery socialization services.
