Wire and cable as accessory products of the construction site,its importance and value is self-evident,but with the development of the domestic economic environment,industry engineering around the construction unceasingly,continues to increase the demand for wire and cable as a construction enterprise,how to control the population of different kinds of cable in your inventory,make its can not only meet the engineering required daily,not out of stock affect the construction period,reduce the customer trust,the loss of competitiveness,and to keep the reasonable inventory,not a "dead stock" increase the cost of enterprise management,make the enterprise capital turnover tension,restrict enterprise development potential,this is a question worth exploring research.By M company as the research object in this paper,in the understanding of M company on the basis of organizational structure and the working process,and analyses the influence of M company current inventory cable way of management,procurement and inventory characteristics,points out the M company inventory classification method of the single cable wire at present,management approach,purchase way to subjectivity,inventory balance cable utilization rate is low,dull inventory backlog of higher problem,this is an urgent need to seek the solution of the status quo,and to improve the present situation of M company,to know what kind of cable should be prepared,and the corresponding amount of stock the two key problems.In collected 2010-2017 M company stock cable data,this paper first use the traditional ABC classification for the current inventory classification,42 kinds of cable after combining with the characteristics of M cable used to add outbound frequency of the indicators to the classification results,and then introduced the XYZ taxonomy and ABC classification of ABC-XYZ matrix,from the perspective of demand fluctuations M company stock cable can be divided into AX,AY,AZ,BX,BY CX,CY,CZ,BZ,nine categories,for M company will AY project actual situation,BY,AZ cable as M key class cable in stock,inventory must be strictly controlled,so as to solve the "what" of the problem.Then put the key in the cable selected representative three cable,uses the historical data from 2010 to 2017 to establish the grey system theory GM(1,1)prediction model,and through the data conversion and buffer operator,two classes of data pretreatment method according to different cable to improve the prediction model,improve the prediction accuracy,finally forecasts the demand for three kinds of cable in 2018,so as to solve the problem of "how much" case.Finally,on the basis of the cable classification and forecast results mentioned above,we put forward the measures of optimizing and changing the machine according to the existing inventory management and purchasing methods of M company.Although this paper studies the status quo and solutions of M company's inventory cables,it also has good guidance and reference significance for similar industries.
