Imported Intermediate And Manufacturing Enterprise Innovation

It is clearly stated in the 19th session of national congress of the communist party of China that China should continue to improve the structural reform of the supply side,and become an innovative country.One of the purpose and significance of improve the structural reform of supply side is to enhance the strength of China's real economy and make Chinese manufacturing enterprises go to the high-end of the global value chain and form world-class advanced manufacturing cluster.Manufacturing enterprise is main part of innovation,it should have highly strategic control over the world's cutting-edge technology research and critical disruptive technology upgrading.It is urgent to enhance the innovation capacity of enterprises and strengthen China's strategic and technological strength.It has theoretical and practical significance to study the internal relations between import intermediate goods and enterprise innovation in the current economic situation.Focusing on the influence of imported intermediate goods on Enterprise Innovation,this paper has combed the existing worldwideliterature On the basis of summarizing the existing research results all of the world,this paper systematically analyzes the transmission mechanism of import intermediate products to enterprise innovation and other factors that influence the innovation of enterprises,such as ompetition effect,technology spillover effect and the quality effect.Finally,based on the data of China's manufacturing enterprises from 2006-2015 years,this paper used the OLS and Tobit models of production functions and empirically studied the impact of the import of intermediate goods on the innovation of manufacturing enterprises.According to the technical structure of imported intermediate goods,the import intermediate products are divided into low-grade technology intermediate products,intermediate technology industry intermediate products and advanced technology industrial intermediate products.In addition,this paper studies the heterogeneity of the company based on the different digestion and absorption preferences.The results showed that(1)the effect of imports of intermediate goods mainly through competition effect,technology spillover effect and the quality effect to influence the innovation of manufacturing enterprises.The technology spillover effect is very obvious,especially for enterprises with strong digestion and absorption preferences,the innovation ability of these enterprises has been effectively improved by introducing and learning new technologies that are introduced into intermediate products;(3)the role of innovation investment in manufacturing enterprises is fundamental to the innovation of enterprises.The innovation of manufacturing enterprises is inseparable from the input of innovation activities.(3)large enterprises have more advantages in financing capability and continuous investment in R&D funds.The expansion of enterprise scale plays an important role in the innovation of manufacturing enterprises.Based on the results of the above research,this paper proposed to gradually promote the trade liberalization of intermediate goods,further improve the independent innovation ability of enterprises,help enterprises to expand domestic and foreign markets and expand market scale and other related policy recommendations.
