Reserch On The Impact Of Intermediate Product Imports On Chinese Manufacturing Innovation

Under the background of actively expanding the import of inter mediate goods and the innovation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in China,this paper takes importing intermediate goods and the innovation of manufacturing industry as the research object,summarizes relevant domestic and foreign literature,and puts forward the research contents and methods adopted in this paper.This paper makes a concrete study from the three dimensions of current situation analysis,theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,and finds that China's intermediate import promotes the innovation level of manufacturing industry through competition effect,technology spillover effect and quality effect,which will be affected by three factors: do mestic R & D investment,export level and Industry scale.Based on the OLS model and the panel data of 26 manufacturing industries in China from 2007 to 2017,this paper empirically tests the prom otion effect of intermediate import on manufacturing innovation,and verifies that domestic R & D investment,export level and industry scale have a positive impact on manufacturing innovation.This paper also analyzes the heterogeneity of manufacturing industry accord ing to the different factor intensive degree and industry,and divides the manufacturing industry into technology intensive industry and non-technology intensive industry.The research finds that compared with technology intensive industry,intermediate importcan promote the innovation of non-technology intensive industry.Then,from the perspective of product heterogeneity,this paper classifies intermediate goods according to different import source countries,and finds that intermediate goods imported from developed countries can promote manufacturing innovation better.Finally,based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of further promoting trade liberalization,stabilizing import trade and realizing the upgrading of manufacturing industry.
