A Study On Bilateral Trade Relationship Between Laos And China

With the development of economic globalization,Laos has joined the WTO,China-ASEAN Free Trade Area,Laos bilateral trade has been rapid development.At present,Laos is still dominated by agriculture,which accounts for a large proportion and lags behind in industrial development,that is,a typical agricultural country.Laos not only lacks advanced equipment,technology and talents,but also lacks sufficient funds to develop rich agriculture and mineral resources.Therefore,Laos should actively implement the policy of opening to the outside world,Strengthen bilateral trade with other countries to promote their economic development.In rencent years,China,implemented a series of policy of "going out",such as "The Belt and Road","economic corridor".Under the guidance of this policy,China has become the main foreign trade country in Laos in recent years.Bilateral trade relations between China and Laos have become increasingly intimate.The development of trade in the two countries also led to investment and other aspects of construction.For Laos,promoted the development of its own industry,the introduction of technology and capital.It has also brought a series of natural resources to China and alleviated the contradiction between economic development and shortage of resources.Therefore,the development of bilateral trade between the two countries is bound to promote their own economic development.However,in recent years,in the course of the development of bilateral trade,constraints have also emerged.because when we develop bilateral trade between the two countries,only concerned about the promotion of the total,did not pay attention to the optimization of the trade structure between the two countries,which led to hysteresis phenomenon in the f trade of some industries(commodities).Therefore,based on the above research background and the changes of bilateral trade relations under the development of bilateral trade,the content of the study is as follows:Under the realistic background and significance,a great deal of literature has been collected and sorted out,and the full text has been deeply analyzed combined with the theoretical knowledge of international trade.According to the research idea of "research actuality-characteristic analysis-problem-reason-countermeasure",this paper explains the bilateral trade relationship between the two countries by using the analytical method of theory and index.Research shows that although the development of bilateral trade between China and Laos has improved significantly in recent years,there are still some problems,for example,the unbalanced development of bilateral trade structures.In view of the problems still existing in bilateral trade relations,this paper puts forward some specific suggestions and countermeasures in order to adjust the bilateral trade structure and promote the sustainable development of bilateral trade between China and Laos in the future.
