The Research To Improving Of The Production Management For Sheet Metal Product By GROB

This master's degree paper aims at optimizing the sheet metal production management of the universal machines by GROB machine tools(Dalian)Co.,Ltd.(The excellent producer of the system production line and universal machines).This paper shows the optimizing of the sheet metal production from many aspects such as production planning management and logistics management.The reason why this paper chooses this topic is that,the sheet metal materials from warehouse entrance to assembly take really long waiting time from 2 weeks to 4 weeks sometime even longer.Considering of the big size of the sheet metal,it take really much workload for warehouse to store and manage these materials.Besides it takes also long time to transport the sheet metal using wooden pallets from warehouse to assembly working place.In order to solve the problem mentioned above,at first a lot of research have been done.The research of the sheet metal production contains planning and steering,manufacturing,quality inspection,logistic and assembly departments.Then the weak points of the current production are analyzed.At same time the waste such as waiting time waste,transportation time waste,searching parts time waste and assembly waste time is also analyzed.Through the analysis the optimizing process is created.The sheet metal trolley is defined to be used for the sheet metal commissioning.To achieve the goals above,the production planning process and the routing plan time must be changed.Instead of workers from quality department,the workers in sheet metal departments check the quality by themselves.After the new setting of the ERP system,the layout of the sheet metal department is also changed to make the optimizing process successful.Finally the comparison between old and new process is pointed out based on the economic theory.
