Study On Leisure Agriculture In The Yangtze River Delta Region

Agriculture in metropolis has been changed from unified to multified with the fast-paced urbanization and leisure agriculture becomes an important part of modern cities economic activities.It's important to study on development situation and the potential of leisure agriculture in cities.Upon the published leisure agriculture data from National Tourism Administration and National Agricultural Department,this study analyzes the leisure agriculture spatial pattern in the Yangtze River Delta Region and explores its development potential.Analytical methods include Near neighbor index?NNI?,index of diversification?GM?,Gini coefficient,factor analysis and cluster analysis.The results show:?1?The number of leisure agricultural demonstration sites in Shanghai,Zhejiang,and Jiangsu accounted for 27.5%,37.7%,and 34.8%,respectively.Shanghai and Hangzhou accounted for the highest proportion,Wenzhou and Jinhua the lowest.The hot points of leisure agriculture in Yangtze river delta region are located in Shanghai and surrounding area.The sub-hot points are located in central and southwest Jiangsu province and the eastern coastal areas of Zhejiang.The number of demonstration sites is ranked as follows:modern farm parks?26%?>tourism agriculture parks?22%?=leisure farms?22%?>heritage villages?20%?>ecological gardens?10%?.The diversification index of leisure agriculture order in Yangtze river delta region?from high to low?is Shanghai?0.78?>Jiangsu?0.77?>Zhejiang?0.75?.In 2015,the index of the nearest index for leisure agriculture in the Yangtze River Delta region was 0.7989.The concentration index was 0.53.The clustering was obvious and the degree of concentration was high.?2?A total of four main factors were extracted from factor analysis:F₁comprehensive service ability factor,F₂ social economic development factor,F₃agricultural development factor,and F₄ agricultural management ability factor.The development potential of leisure agriculture is highly different in Yangtze river delta region,Shanghai,Nanjing and Suzhou have highest development potential,while Zhoushan has the lowest one.The high potential zone is centered on Shanghai,forming the"Z"type distribution pattern.The low potential area is mainly located in the south and southwest of Zhejiang province and the western part of Jiangsu.?3?The index of remaining agricultural development potential in Xuzhou,Suzhou,Nanjing and Hangzhou is the highest,with Zhoushan,Huzhou,Wuxi and Jiaxing being the lowest.The remaining development potentials of leisure agriculture in the north and south of the Yangtze River Delta both show the features of high west to low east,and the central part presents high-lying and low-centered“funnel”features.According to the development density and development potential of leisure agriculture in the Yangtze river delta region,cities in Yangtze river delta can be divided into five types.?4?The leisure agriculture development in the Yangtze River Delta region still has the problems of imperfect industrial planning,unbalanced regional development and uncoordinated development.In the future,differentiated development based on local conditions is needed,and government leadership and industrial policies are strengthened,while environmental protection and resource protection are emphasized.
