Research On The Evaluation Of A-grade Scenic Spots Spatial Pattern And Tourism Resource Exploitation Potential In Hunan Province

Hunan Province is a large tourism province,it has large number of A-level scenic spots which increased year by year.By the end of 2015,Hunan Province already has 245 A-level scenic spots.Tourism in Hunan Province shows good momentum of development.For a long time,resear-ches of the spatial pattern of tourism resources and Evaluation of develo-pment potential in Hunan province are less.With the development of The thirteenth Five-Year Plan in Hunan,The development and planning of tourism resources needs new progress and breakthrough.It needs more new studies as it’s theoretical basis.Study on the spatial pattern,driving factors of the A-level scenic spots and evaluating the development potential of the tourism resources in Hunan province could provide the scientific basis to The development of tourism resources of Hunan.In this paper,the object of study is the 245 A-level scenic spots in Hunan province,explored the spatial pattern of a-level scenic spots with GIS technology as the main analytical tools by utilizing the data of A-level scenic spots in Hunan province,the national basic data,statistical yearbooks etc.,and combining with spatial analysis methods,quantitative methods in geography,analytic hierarchy process(AHP),mathematical statistics.Then according to the analysis of the driving factors,their development potential for tourism resources in Hunan Province were evaluated.The main contents and results are as follows:(1)A-level scenic spots spatial pattern analysis in Hunan provinceAnalyzing the features of region distribution,spatial distribution types,balanced distribution properties,the nuclear density distribution of A-level scenic spots in Hunan Province can get conclusions,the A-level scenic spots of Hunan province mainly distributed in Changsha,Chenzh-ou and Zhangjiajie,which exhibited contagious distribution type.The mainly nuclear density distributed in Changsha-Xiangtan-Yiyang,Wulin-gyuan areas and the surrounding regions of Chenzhou.(2)Driving factors analysis of A-level scenic spots in Hunan provin-ceAnalyzing natural and cultural driving factors which affecting the A-level scenic spots distribution in Hunan province.Here is the conclusio-n:Natural A-level scenic spots are mainly located at the regions with low altitude,high vegetation coverage,near rivers,moderate precipitation and high temperature,what’s more the economic development level,popula-tion and traffic convenience have weak effects on its distribution,which show a characteristic of a little away from the administrative center of the city.Cultural A-level scenic spots are most distributed areas with low altitude,approaching to the river,abundant rainfall and high temperature,meanwhile their distributions between economic level,population density,transport facilities,tourist market,whether close to the administrative center exhibit a positive correlation.(3)Evaluation of Tourism Resources Development Potentialevaluation indexes have various impacts on natural and cultural tour-ism resources development,this paper evaluates the potential of two types of tourism resources exploration,respectively.then put the two add up.Results show that areas of High-level tourism development potential in Hunan province are mainly distributed in these regions:Wuling mount-ainous area in northwest,part regions in the central,Dongting lake basin and Changliu basin,in the Upper midstream of Xiangjiang river and Zishui river In central and southern.
