At present,China has become the second largest economy in the world,and its macroeconomic growth is increasing.It has entered a crucial period of economic transformation and development.At the same time,in order to meet the requirements of structural reform on the supply side,economic growth cannot rely on the extensive mode any more.Technological innovation capability has become a key factor in improving the competitiveness of industrial enterprises and further promoting economic development.The construction of the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt is an important national-level strategic plan.It is particularly important to study how to increase the regional technological innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises above designated size in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt,and to achieve a coordinated development of the economic development mode.Based on the index data of industrial enterprises above designated size in 11 cities of Pearl River-West River Economic Belt,this paper deeply analyzes the relevant theory of technological innovation efficiency and uses the DEA method to measure the technological innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises above designated size in the 11 cities.After an in-depth analysis of the empirical results,it is found that the efficiency of technological innovation has a significant difference in the distribution of regions and industries,and the efficiency of pure technological innovation is higher than the efficiency value of technological innovation of scale,but it is generally at the stage of increasing returns of scale.On the basis of empirical analysis,this paper then proposes seven index variables that affect the technological innovation efficiency of the large-scale industrial zone in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt from the three perspectives of innovative resource allocation,market structure,and institutional environment,and then use the Tobit regression model to analyze the index variables.Calculate the results and analyze each of the influencing factors.The regression results of this paper show that R&D human capital investment,corporate growth capability,company size variables,government input,and market structure all have a significant positive impact on the technological innovation efficiency of industrial enterprises above designated size in the Pearl River-West River Economic Belt;The input has not been fully utilized and the input structure has been irrational,resulting in negative effects;the degree of openness to the outside world has also shown negative effects.On the basis of DEA analysis and Tobit regression analysis,this paper further proposes policy recommendations for improving the efficiency of technological innovation in the Pearl River-West River Economic Zone-scale industrial zone.
