The research and development of high-tech products are important not only for the country but also for the enterprise.Technology companies are also facing high costs and high investment risks while providing high value-added technology products.The risk comes from three aspects.One is the demand from fast-changing market conditions and consumer "fuzzification." The second is that compared to the traditional product life cycle,the introduction period and growth period of the life of technology products are longer,while the maturity period is shorter and the decline is more rapid.The third is the phenomenon that the short-cycle science and technology products are worth evanescent.Therefore,for technology companies,how to determine the right time for new and old products to update and maximize the profits of the company is very important.However,at present,the research on the timing of product update focuses on the qualitative theory discussion,which is of insufficient significance to the actual guidance of the company.On the other hand,it is not targeted on the basis of high knowledge of high-tech products and complex products.Based on this paper,the research on the timing of updating high-tech products is of great significance in theory and practice.Based on the related research of product update timing,this paper builds a demand transfer model and a product diffusion model based on the characteristics of high-tech products and consumer product purchase selection behavior,and conducts empirical tests.On this basis,we built a high-g and product replacement model,and conducted research on the actual case of T company to discuss the optimal timing of the update of T company's two generations of products.Finally,from the perspective of enterprise control,the paper discusses the influence of different control methods on the timing of optimal renewal and corporate profits.Based on this,the relevant strategies and opinions of the company in the product updating stage are given.Through the research on the timing of renewal of high-tech products,we have obtained the following conclusions:(1)High-tech products are products whose performance determines consumption and "word-of-mouth" guidance.(2)In the process of updating high-tech new and old products,there are two types of activities,namely "demand shift" and "product proliferation," that affect the market demand for products.(3)In the process of updating new and old products,companies have the best opportunity for updating.In general,the optimal timing of the update exists in the mature stage of the old product.(4)Enterprises can actively influence the updating and updating process of new and old products by changing market reputation,product innovation coefficient,new and old product prices,and timing of new product launches.From the sensitivity analysis,raising the price of new products is the most direct way to increase corporate profits,followed by improving the reputation of new market products,such as increasing advertising,etc.,again to increase the price cuts of old products.The last step is to increase the innovation factor of new products.(5)When the market capacity of new markets becomes larger,or the market capacity of old products shrinks,technology companies should advance the time to market for new products.(6)When the company is carrying out the process of iterative updating of new and old products,it should cooperate with the corresponding market strategy,product strategy,timing strategy,price strategy,promotion strategy and promotion strategy.
