Study On The Influencing Factors Of Bilateral Users' Participation In Science Sourcing

Under the macro background of popular innovation and people's entrepreneurship,science sourcing has attracted the attention of science and technology enterprises,scientific research institutions,and scientific researchers.It has become a effective solution to the lack of innovative resources within scientific research bodies and to the contradiction between limited data mining capabilities and unlimited data.The development of science sourcing requires the participation of the crowdsourcers and the crowds.However,the degree of participation of crowdsourcers and crowds in China's science sourcing website is far less than that of foreign science sourcing platforms.Science sourcing is confronted with low level of participation by crowdsourcers and crowds.Under such circumstances,the development of science sourcing platforms will be limited and it will be difficult to exert their role in promoting scientific and technological development.Therefore,for the purpose of promoting the healthy development of science sourcing,it is of great practical significance to study the influencing factors of the participation behavior of crowdsourcers and crowds.Based on the relevant concepts such as science sourcing,science sourcing platform,bilateral users in the science sourcing platform,and their participation behaviors,this paper analyzed the crowdsourcing process and the characteristics of the task,the crowdsourcers and crowds firstly.Secondly,based on the organizational boundary theory,resource-based theory and transaction cost theory,this paper constructed a framework for the analysis of the influencing factors of participation of crowdsoucers in the science sourcing platform and tested it.Thirdly,Based on the technology acceptance model,self-determination theory,this paper constructed a framework for the analysis of the influencing factors of participation of crowds and tested it.Finally,related suggestions are given to increase the participation rate of crowdsourcers and crowds and promote the healthy development of science sourcing.This paper analyzes the factors that affect the participation behavior of crowdsourcers and crowds in the science sourcing platform by theoretical analysis,model construction,and statistical analysis.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)It is very necessary to research on the factors influencing the participation of crowdsourcers and crowds in the science sourcing platform.(2)The task of science sourcing,the crowdsourcers and the crowds have characteristics different from ordinary crowdsourcing.The science sourcing task is multi-stage,professional,and complex;the science sourcing crowdsourcers has the identity multiplicity,the diversity of choices,and the behavioral prudence;the science sourcing crowds has high research and innovation requirements and strong collaboration and organizational support.(3)The contract delivery mode for the research crowdsourcing platform includes three modes: internal crowdsourcing mode,self-built platform crowdsourcing mode and third-party platform crowdsourcing mode.(4)The factors influencing the participation behavior of the crowdsourcers in the science sourcing platform include resource complementarity,innovation management skills,organizational attractiveness,platform utilization ability,public concern,platform interaction capabilities,resource acquisition ability,system control capabilities,the degree of legal protection and policy support levels.(5)The factors affecting the participation wil of the crowds of the science sourcing platform include material incentives,corporate image,system quality,information quality,legal environment,policy environment,promotion factors.The factors affecting the participation behavior include promotion factors and participation will.(6)Increased enthusiasm for the participation of bilateral users in the science sourcing platform requires the crowdsourcers,the platform party,and the government to take joint action.The possible innovations of this paper are as follows: First,based on the analysis of the characteristics of subjects in the science sourcing,this paper constructed an influencing factor model of the participation behavior,and analyzed the influencing factors.Second,from the perspective of the organizational boundary theory,based on the size of the organizational boundaries of science sourcing participants,the participation behavior of the crowdsourcers for science sourcing is divided,which enriches the research theory of crowdsourcing.The limitations of this article: First,the type of science sourcing tasks should be analyzed in detail.Second,this article does not investigate the benefit-sharing mechanism between the science sourcing platform and its bilateral users.
