Investors would make different decisions given the different information provided by borrowers on P2 P lending platform due to the asymmetric information. This paper takes the transaction data published on “we.com” as the object, and focuses on borrowers' information, that is,which factors would affect the loan success rate. The study implies that the borrowers' personal information, namely gender, educational background, work place, presence and absence of real estate and, marital status, credit level and loan characteristics including interest rate, loan amount and duration, will have a significant impact on the success rate.At the same time, this paper conducts an in-depth study on whether there is geographical discrimination on P2 P lending. In this paper,30 provinces(excluding those without borrower data)have been divided into five categories, and a research has been done to study whether the investors' focus are the same for each category when extending funds. It is found that the influential factors in different groups are similar but not identical, which can be reflected in the existence of regional discrimination in online lending.
