Research On The Space-time Evolution And Mechanism Of Internet Entrepreneurship And Financing Network In China

Driven by the “Internet Plus” national strategy,Internet entrepreneurship has gradually become the focus of China's economic transformation.As a knowledge-driven economic activity,Internet entrepreneurship and financing activities are distinctly localized and networked,resulting in completely different spatial location and network mechanism distinguished with traditional production activities.Based on the theoretical results and research progress of previous research on entrepreneurial activities and venture capital investment,the article clarifies the new features of entrepreneurial and financing activities supported by Internet technology: Internet entrepreneurship is a localized economic activity.Its spring-up often comes from local technological advancement advantages,but information technology helps to overcome the regional lock-in and distance barriers of the entrepreneurial process,so it gets access to entrepreneurial resources widely available through knowledge network systems such as financing networks and innovation networks.In order to demonstrate this predication,the article selects the Internet start-up company data and related venture capital data created from 2000 to 2014,and draws on important theories such as position theory,path dependence,and proximity theory.First,under the perspective of industrial localization and path dependence,explained the development course and origin of China's Internet industry.Secondly,it discussed the spatial evolution process and location selection mechanism of China's Internet entrepreneurship through spatial visualization,spatial Gini coefficient,spatial location regression model,etc.Then,it introduced social network analysis and spatial autocorrelation and QAP regression models into exploring the structure and proximity mechanism of China's Internet venture capital network.Finally,based on spatial coupling theory,it explored the spatial relationship between Internet entrepreneurial activities and investment networks.While summarizing the research results,we pointed out that issues such as the entrepreneurial space within cities and the coupling mechanism of multidimensional proximity may be future research directions.
