Research On The Impact Of Entrepreneurial Environment On New Venture Performance In Maker Space From The Perspective Of Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

With the proposal of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" strategy in China,a new wave of innovation and entrepreneurship is rising,and China has become one of the most active regions in global entrepreneurship activities.As a new platform and an important carrier for mass innovation and entrepreneurship,maker space has developed rapidly in line with the trend of mass entrepreneurship and innovation.At the same time,maker space is also playing a vital role in implementing innovation-driven development strategy,activating social innovation vitality and economic transformation and upgrading in China,and a number of thriving maker space have emerged.In the process of maker space development,although the number of maker space has increased rapidly in the initial stage of development,in the past two years,there have also been phenomena of closing down and stopping entrepreneurship services.The development of maker space also has problems of uneven quality,which is ushering in the stage from quantitative change to qualitative change.In addition,with the increasing demand of new ventures,different types of maker spaces are diversified in venture services and areas of concern,and there are rich and rich and diversified entrepreneurial environment.The maker space can provide a good entrepreneurial ecological environment for the innovation and entrepreneurship activities of new ventures,the composition and impact mechanism of the entrepreneurial environment in maker space has gradually become a topic of concern in the entrepreneurship circle and even the academia.Maker space builds a diversified entrepreneurial ecological environment for new ventures,and supports all stages of the development of new ventures in the whole process to promote entrepreneurial activities to achieve ecological balance.Maker space is regarded as an important carrier for new ventures to obtain a good entrepreneurial environment.From the perspective of entrepreneurship ecosystem,the entrepreneurship environment and the entered new ventures are the important components of the maker space.Combined with the resource-based,the maker space provides a good entrepreneurial environment for new ventures,which can not only maintain the ecological balance between the entrepreneurship environment and the new ventures,but also can provide the needed resources for the new ventures and help to improve the performance of new ventures.Therefore,from the perspective of entrepreneurship ecosystem,this study first discusses the composition of entrepreneurial environment in different types of maker space and further identifies the four common entrepreneurial environment;Secondly,it reveals the impact mechanism of the four common entrepreneurial environment in different types of maker space on the new venture performance,and explores the moderating role of entered team type.This study firstly sorts out relevant literature and elaborates the theoretical basis including the theory of entrepreneurial ecosystem and resource based theory,and definition,development and research dimensions of maker space,entrepreneurial environment and new venture performance.Secondly,from the perspective of entrepreneurship ecosystem,combined with the resource-based theory and considering the whole cycle of the development of new ventures to identify the composition of entrepreneurial environment in different types of maker space by taking the research method of grounded theory.Thirdly,combined with the results of qualitative research,this paper deduces the impact mechanism of the entrepreneurial environment and new venture performance,and then empirically verifies the effect of entrepreneurship environment on new ventures and the moderating role of entered team type.The empirical results show that the platform cooperation environment,entrepreneurial training environment and financial support environment of maker space have a significant positive impact on the capital performance,talent performance and innovation performance of new venture.And the technology supply environment has a significant positive impact on the capital performance of new venture.The type of entered entrepreneurial team plays a moderating role in the impact of entrepreneurial environment on the new venture performance.The type of executive turnover has positive moderating effect between the technology supply environment and the capital performance of new venture.The type of scientific and technical personnel has a negative moderating effect between the platform cooperation environment and the capital performance of new venture.The type of returned from abroad has a positive moderating effect between the entrepreneurial training environment and the capital performance and innovation performance of new venture.The type of college students has negative a moderating effect between the financial support environment and the capital performance and innovation performance of new venture.The innovation of this study include two aspects.First,from the perspective of business ecosystem,combined with the resource-based theory and considering the whole process of development of new venture,this study constructs an analysis framework of the composition of entrepreneurial environment in maker space from the perspective of entrepreneurial ecosystem,identifies the composition of entrepreneurial environment in six types of maker space and focus on the common entrepreneurial environment in maker space,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the research on the impact of entrepreneurial environment on the new ventures performance.It enriches and expands the relevant research in the field of maker space and entrepreneurial environment.Second,this paper clarifies the mechanism of the entrepreneurial environment and the performance of new venture from the perspective of entrepreneurial ecosystem,and tests its direct impact and the mediating role of entered team type,which widens the research dimension of the impact mechanism of entrepreneurial environment and the new venture performance.The conclusion enriches the theoretical research on maker space,entrepreneurial environment and new venture performance,and provides practical guidance for the construction planning of maker space,the selection of maker space by entrepreneurial team and the planning of innovation development of government.
