With the continuous improvement of Internet technology,cloud computing and big data starting to playing a much more vital role.Wechat,Alipay and all kinds of online payment tool are trending in this modern society.Taobao,Jingdong mall and other e-commerce platforms have emerged endlessly,we can easily go wherever we want with nothing but a cell phone.Humanbeings' life become inseparable from the Internet because that they can buy anything they want or need to satisfy their desire of shopping online.However,these developments have brought a lot of impacts as well as new opportunities to the traditional retail industry.Traditional retail industry begun to find its own new role to play in order to adapting the development of new sales model.Ma Yun,the founder of Alipay and Taobao,puts forward the concept of "new retail" is no longer limited to traditional entity shop in Hangzhou recently.He also said that retail industry should begin to develop the multi-channel sales model,under the existing stores close to market,created by near the advantages brought by the consumers,at the same time,the development of online sales,through the O2 O mode,B2 C mode network market resources,to improve their competitiveness.Based on the traditional retail giant Wal-mart,for example,are the advantages and disadvantages in the Chinese market,the opportunities and challenges,to introduce the company's performance in the Chinese electronic business market,after analyzing its financial data from 2012 to 2017,the author found that the multi-channel sales model has brought Wal-mart with the increase of sales and at the same time it also brought about problems in its inventory turnover,commodity pricing,shopping experience consistency and China's local situation.In order to solve these problems,the author thinks that,with the aid of Jingdong mall warehouse logistics system to solve the problem of inventory,through efficient management to reduce their operating costs,adjust the information system and logistics system to adapt to China's national conditions and enhance ‘customer support' and ‘customer satisfaction' part.
