Research On Famer Participation The Forestry Of Poverty Alleviation In The South Of Shaanxi Province

Forestry bears important responsibility for the protection of forests,wetlands and deserts and maintains biodiversity.It is a key area for the construction of ecological civilization.It has multiple ecological,economic and social benefits and plays a unique role in helping the poor.At the present stage,forestry poverty alleviation has received more and more attention,and it has shouldered two major missions of solving ecological and people's livelihood issues.Although the current poverty alleviation work has achieved certain achievements,some “old,young,faraway,poor” areas remain very poor.Therefore,the development of forestry in poverty-stricken areas is the inevitable choice and advantage for realizing poverty alleviation,improving ecology,and realizing rural regeneration.Taking southern Shaanxi as an example,this paper focuses on the current status and existing problems of forestry poverty alleviation in the region and suggestions for related policies.It will provide a reference for forestry poverty alleviation work and provide reference for further improvement of forestry poverty alleviation.The relevant policies provide practical evidence that will help further improve the effectiveness of forestry poverty alleviation and give full play to the potential of forestry poverty alleviation.This study investigated the poverty alleviation situation of 27 villages in 3 counties(districts)in southern Shaanxi by means of household surveys.The logistic model was used to determine the factors affecting the initiative of farmers in southern Shaanxi to participate in forestry poverty alleviation.analysis.The study finds that: First,farmers generally have a high degree of satisfaction with poverty alleviation policies,and 89.69% of people feel that existing poverty alleviation measures can meet their actual needs,but 58.02% of them believe that forestry poverty alleviation offers little help some people think that nothing helps.Second,peasant households are mostly passive in forestry poverty alleviation and have little awareness of active participation.Third,the basic conditions of farmer households and peasant households' understanding of poverty alleviation policies have a significant impact on the farmers' initiative in forestry poverty alleviation in Southern Shaanxi.The respondents' ages,whether they are laborers,whether they understand poverty alleviation policies,and provide policies Whether or not they are willing to develop the under-forest economy and whether they are willing to develop the industry have significant influence on the participation of farmers in forestry poverty alleviation initiatives.Fourth,peasant households are more willing to participate in forestry poverty alleviation,but some households are subject to objective conditional factors(forest area,traffic conditions,lack of labor force,etc.)and their ability to participate in project participation is limited(lack of advanced technology and related policy support,etc.)The result is a low degree of participation,which results in the impoverished population's lack of ability to develop and develop their own capabilities.The government can use the enthusiasm of poor households as a goal to promote “hematopoietic”poverty alleviation,refer to the wishes of the people,improve traditional management mechanisms,and take multiple measures to effectively formulate long-term help mechanisms,strengthen poverty alleviation through science and technology,and increase forestry utilization.Such measures as improving the participation of farmers in the initiative and better play the potential of forestry poverty alleviation.
