Chinese cultural heritage tourism has been developed rapidly in recent years. The problem of heritage protection and development of scenic spots has always been the core issue of the academia and the industry management sectors. In the process of actively seeking for the harmonious operation mechanism between the development and protection, the academia and relevant management industry have made a series of rules and restrictions on the tourists' sightseeing behavior. In the background of the continuous increase of the national civilization, visitors have an understanding attitude to some of the restrictions. But some restrictions on tourists' behavior may have a negative impact on tourists' experience and reduce the tourists' satisfaction which is of great significance to improve the status of scenic spots in the tourism market. Therefore, for the cultural heritage scenic spots,it is of great practical significance to study whether the restrictions of tourists' behavior(restricted tour mode)have an impact on the tourist satisfaction and how it affects the tourist satisfaction. In this paper,a questionnaire survey was conducted on five cultural heritage sites in Nanjing: Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum,Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum,Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall,Terrace of Raining Flowers and Presidential Palace.Based on some theories, this paper establishes a model of satisfaction research on restrictive tour, and introduces four factors: space-time restriction, interpretation system restriction, behavior restriction and experience restriction with a series of following analyses. This study shows that just the “interpretation system restriction” factor and the“experience restriction” factor have an obvious negative impact on the tourist satisfaction,in which the influence degree of experience restriction is higher than that of interpretation system restriction.Accordingly, this article puts forward some suggestions for improvement:(1)reduce the protection education content in the interpretation system;(2)diversification of interpretation methods;(3)set up patrol stations and tourist safety centers at key sites;(4)control the capacity of queued tourists;(5)except for the reason of copyright or religion, the "no flash" warning sign is used instead of "no photo taking".
