Empirical Research On The Relationship Between Government Subsidy And Firm Performance Evidence From Agriculture,forestry,animal Husbandry And Fisheries Industry

Since the reform and opening up,our government has used financial funds,tax incentives and various policy measures to encourage the development of agriculture and the progress of productivity,which has made great progress in the modernization of agriculture in our country,but there is still a certain gap with the advanced world level.This paper studies the effects of financial measures,such as government subsidies and tax support,on the performance level of agroforestry and fishery enterprises to be listed,and how financial support plays a role in the performance level of agroforestry and fishery enterprises.Effective use of government subsidies and policy preferences,relying on the actual development of their own agricultural and forestry,forestry and fishing business,or expand the scale of business,or improve the level of technological innovation,or improve the efficiency of organization and management,so as to improve the level of their own performance,and discuss whether the policy of agricultural financial support is effective and whether there is still a room of improvement.The study found that the more the subsidy of the enterprise,the more subsidies the government gives to the agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery enterprises,the higher the performance level represented by ROE,while if use EVA represents the performance,the government subsidies have no significant impact on it;Regardless of whether ROE or EVA represent performance,it is found that the more tax returns received,the lower the performance level of the enterprise,and the income of the agricultural business is also negatively correlated with the performance level of the enterprise.Therefore,this paper argues that the government's financial support policy for agricultural enterprises deviates from the original intention.Furthermore,we should put forward that our country can draw on the experience of the advanced countries,reduce the tax preferential policies of the final product as the subsidy benchmark,and reduce some unnecessary direct subsidies to reduce the direct intervention on the market,price and enterprise production and marketing arrangements,and turn to the technical percentage of the agricultural production,resources utilization,environmental impact and other comprehensive inspection,and then give more effective financial support and policy guidance to agroforestry and fishery enterprises.
