Reflection On Urban Modernization From The Perspective Of Alienation Theory

Urban modernization,as an important frontier process of world modernization,is an inevitable requirement to realize the comprehensive progress of society.The highest standards of urban modernization refer to: the comprehensive development of people,social fairness and justice,all residents' sharing of modernization results.In the context of large-technology society,people,nature and society produce varying degrees of alienation in the development process,so the process of urban modernization is inevitable.A series of urban alienation problems continue to show,such as the value crisis,one-sided material enjoyment,human dislocation,consumption expansion,communication barriers,the loss of moral spirit,environmental pollution,ecological indifference,etc,which has sounded the alarm for urban modernization.China's new urbanization is imperative with the people-oriented urbanization as a manifestation signal to avoid the alienation in the development process.With the dialectical materialism and historical materialism as a guide,combined with the practice of urban modernization at home and abroad,the author makes a systematic research and reflection on alienation of urban modernization from the philosophical perspective of alienation theory on the basis of collecting and sorting out classic works and latest achievements on the study of alienation of urban modernization,in order to realize the organic combination of theory and reality and makes a theoretical contribution to the development of China's new urbanization.This paper is divided into five chapters to elaborate:The first chapter - introduction: the author mainly introduces the research object and research background,summarizes the research status of alienation theory,urban modernization and urban modernization alienation phenomenon,expounds the research ideas and basic methods,and emphasizes difficult points and innovative points.The second chapter - outline of the concepts related to urbanization and urban modernization: the author analyzes the concept and relationship between urbanization and urban modernization,expounds the connotation of urban modernization,including the operational definition,basic requirement and judgment standard of urban modernization,and clarifies the development process of urban modernization.The third chapter - elaboration of the main alienation theory and the alienation phenomenon of urban modernization: the author summarizes the major alienation theories related to the paper,the alienation labor theory of Marxism,the theory of materialization of Lukacs,and the social critical theory of the Frankfurt School.From human,social and natural dimensions,the author analyzes the representation of urban modernization alienation phenomenon and trend.The fourth chapter - philosophical reflection on the phenomenon of “alienation” of urban modernization:corresponding to the representation of urban modernization alienation phenomenon,the author firstly makes philosophical reflection on alienation of human beings,the rationality of human being and the crisis of value,people's dependence on things and diverse needs,the objectification of human and the human nature of dislocation;the author secondly makes philosophical reflection on social alienation,social communication barriers and the values of secularization,excessive consumption demand and unbalanced consumption relationship,the shock of moral spirit and unhealthy lifestyle;the author thirdly makes philosophical reflection on alienation of natural environment,the “bottleneck” and “economic supremacy” of environmental protection,deterioration of environmental pollution and traditional “terminal treatment”,the challenge of industrial structure transformation and “production departmentalism”.The fifth chapter - practical orientation of new urbanization in China.Firstly,The practical orientation of new urbanization in China,the construction of new urbanization with rich humanistic ideas,uphold the concept of Fair Idea of the new urbanization,new urbanization with the idea of opening up;secondly,social development orientation of new urbanization in China,construction and implementation of innovative ideas of the new urbanization,the implementation of the wisdom of the new urbanization,the new urbanization of the concept of universal sharing;thirdly,environmental development orientation of new urbanization in China,construction and integration new urbanization of ecological idea,the new urbanization of strengthening the concept of coordination,the new urbanization with the idea of harmony.By reflection on the representation of urban modernization alienation,we can summarize development experience in the successful practice of urban modernization and draw lessons from the alienation practice.China's urban modernization is in a comprehensive development stage of the first and second urbanization,drawing on the two urban modernization results.For China's new urbanization development,we should take a road of urban modernization that conforms to China's national conditions and features,which is people - oriented,guided by the concept of innovation,coordination,green,openness and sharing,in order to build a China's new urbanization space system of wisdom,fairness,humanities and harmony that is suitable for living and producing.
