The Research On Selection And Application Of Engineering Insurance Coverage Mode For Urban Rail Transit Projects

With the rapid development of economy and urbanization process,urban rail transit projects step into the high-speed construction period.Urban rail transit projects are integrated and complex engineering with technical,artificial,hydro-geological,social and environmental uncertain factors that may cause all kinds of risk accidents.It has been a consensus and practice for the construction subject of urban rail transit projects that covering the engineering insurance can disperse and transfer risk for risk management.However,most of the construction subject only realize the necessity of purchasing engineering insurance and have no intensive study on insurance mode,selection basis and specific application operation which influence and restrict the design of insurance scheme and practice of risk management.Therefore,the research on the insurance coverage mode of urban rail transit projects has both theoretical and practical significance.Based on the overview of the project risk,insurance,theory of planned behavior and the domestic and foreign related research,the insurance coverage model is discussed from multiple dimensions.According to risk transfer mode,the insurance model is divided into self-insurance,commercial insurance and mutual insurance.On the basis of the main responsibility of insurance,the insurance mode is divided into Owner Controlled Insurance Programs and Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs.Based on the purchase channel,the insurance mode is divided into purchasing insurance on their own and purchasing insurance through insurance broker.In order to provide insurance model suggestions for construction subject of urban rail transit projects,the main influencing factors of insurance coverage mode selection are summarized according to the practice of insurance covering for urban rail transit projects.This thesis introduces the framework of the theory of planned behavior for study and puts forward the theoretical model of insurance selection model.Combined with the empirical analysis of insurance practice in Tianjin Metro Line 4,further guidance for urban rail transit projects insurance practice is analyzed from practical aspect.
