Real-time positioning plays a crucial role in advancing intelligent monitoring of discrete plants,lean production management,and visualization of manufacturing sites.To solve the problem of "blind spots" and "random drift" during real-time positioning in workshop,a two-step process is executed for precise positioning with UWB sensor deployment and positioning optimization sperately,which aims to provide precise control of manufacturing factors and support visualization of production.The main contents of this paper include:(1)Study and analyze the difference of positioning between workshop and ordinary,and clarify the positioning requirements for discrete workshop.Analyze the UWB technology application for discrete workshops,including application features,deployment analysis and positioning optimization.(2)The performance of UWB positioning in discrete manufacturing workshop and the problem of continuous deployment of large space are analyzed.Secondly,the two-step mathematic models are constructed for deployment and optimization,with the goals of minimizing the cost and maximum positioning precision separately.Finally,the model is solved by genetic algorithm based on OpenCL framework,and a comparison with ordinary deployment is given by taking a workshop as an example,which verifies the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.(3)The random perturbations in the positioning data are eliminated by preprocessing the UWB positioning data,which can eliminate random perturbations,reduce signal glitch,stabilize positioning data and reducing the interference from the uncertain factors from the source.Then,an analysis on AGV is taken,with the aspect of its movement characteristics.And the tracking model of moving objects in discrete workshop is established.Finally,the two kinds of data are fused by the real-time positioning fusion algorithm,and the effectiveness of the method is verified by experiment and analysis.(4)On the basis of the above research,the development of real-time positioning prototype system includes the construction of system framework,functional module design,hardware platform construction and system development.
