In As a food processing enterprise,the purpose of new product innovation is to develop a “new product” which can be satisfied by consumers.Only in this way,the new product has market competitiveness,can be accepted by the customer.But how to define the new product development trend? How to evaluate the new product is a good product? How to improve the efficiency of new product development? This is the urgent issue which need to be solved as soon as possible.Company P is one of the biggest Baking raw materials manufacturers,the headquater is located in Belgium.Company PC is one of the branch company in China.It has been set up from 1995.As the PC company is a B2 B company,its products are separated to Gerneral Market product and Tailor Made product.Product upgrading faster.Liftcycle of Gerneral Market product is very short,and the percentage of new product deleted is reach up to 45.The rate of product transformation for Tailor Made product just around 20%.In order to improve the new product development success rate and efficiency of PC company,we find taste is the key reason of not good sales and low success rate via customer satisfaction survey.Its essential reason is that PC company is lack of an objective evaluation system.We try to set up a new product evaluation system by combining sensory analysis and consumer test.And then,we can know what's product is preferred by consumer.This can give some idea to new product development.And hope this example can give a reference for the similar food company.
