As a method of complex system factor analysis,the decision making trial evaluation laboratory(DEMATEL)can evaluate the interrelated system elements and identify the key factors within the target problem.It make use of reasonable calculations based on qualitative analysis by experts of the inherent regularity and the causal relationships between the elements of decision problems.In order to make analysis decisions easily and efficiently,in the process of applying DEMATEL,the function of deleting system redundancy information and assisting the decision-maker to quickly grasp the main contradiction of complex things are usually implemented by setting thresholds.Therefore,it is of great significance and value to study the scientific rationality of the threshold determination method deeply.Existing literature shows there are five methods in DEMATEL threshold determination such as the method based on expert opinion,the method based on simple statistics,the method based on statistical distribution,the method based on information entropy,and the method based on partial factor design principle.The determination of various thresholds seems to be reasonable,but there are inadequacies in terms of subjective arbitrariness,low academic consensus,and poor applicability of methods to varying degrees.In order to overcome the above drawbacks,this paper proposes a new DEMATEL threshold determination method for complex systems combined with the Otsu.At the same time,taking into account that the traditional DEMATEL method uses the 0-4 scale to make use of the expert's experience and knowledge to judge the influence relationships between factors,it is difficult to effectively reflect the uncertainty and ambiguity of the experts' judgment information.And it is not able to meet the reasonable transformation between realistic situations and mathematical models.Therefore,based on the above theoretical research,this paper using the interval trapezoidal type-2 fuzzy set theory improves the traditional DEMATEL method evaluation scale,and applies this method to identify the key influencing factors of the development of pension services in China.The research results show that the new method has strong reference value for practical application..
