In this paper Fe-TiO2 nanoparticles was synthesized by one-step microwave hydrothermal method with industrial-grade TiOSO4 as raw material,urea as precipitant,Fe?NO3?3-9H2O as the doping agent.And the Fe-TiO2/PE film and sun cream were prepared with Fe-Ti02 as ultraviolet shield agent.Using a variety of methods like DRS,FM,etc.to characterize the Fe-TiO2 and according to the results of the photo-degradation of RhB,we determined the best mixing ratio of Fe3+:The experiment result indicates 5mol%Fe-TiO2 has a very low catalytic activity,at the same time,its capacity of absorbing ultraviolet light and the scope of ultraviolet absorption is obviously improved.Adding 5mol%Fe-TiO2 to sun cream and other photosensitive material as the ultraviolet screening agent not only effectively shield the illumination of ultraviolet light,but also reduce the harm on the skin or the degradation of photosensitive material.In order to improve the dispersion of the Fe-TiO2 in polymer,in this paper the silane coupling agent KH550 was used for the Fe-TiO2 surface modifier.Studies have shown that KH550 could effectively improve the dispersibility of Fe-TiO2 in the PE film.The ultraviolet shielding ability of the commercial sunscreens and sunscreen made by ourselves were compared by the physical test method.Research has shown that compared with the chemical sunscreen,physical sunscreen has more effective and stabilized.And the application of Fe-TiO2 as sunscreen has a bright future.
