Copper oxide ore is an important part of copper resources.Malachite is a typical representative of copper oxide ore.With an increasing demand for copper,copper oxide ore of efficient deVelopment and utilization has become ineVitable,especially for refractory oxidised copper ore.Copper oxide ore flotation theory has long been a significant research in China and other countries.Sulphide flotation is the main method of processing copper oxide ore,effective sulfide is the main problem which faced by copper oxide ore flotation.Single amine(ammonium)salt can be able to effectively activate oxide copper minerals,but there is still insufficient:First,the ammonium sulphate has sulphidation accelerator effect to copper oxide ore,but to sulfide copper mineral has a certain inhibitory effect,especially the inert sulfide copper;Second,the ethylene diamine phosphate can effectively activate oxide copper ore,but its activation is controlled by micro dissolved.And therefore they could not get a wide range of industrial applications.Based on organic amine salts and inorganic salts could effectively activate copper oxide ores and chemical coupling principle,organic combination of amine-ammoni?m salts are used to coupled strengthen sulfide flotation of malachite for the first time in this study,which further enriches the basic theory of oxide copper ore sulfide flotation.This paper focuses on the study of malachite.Using several amine(ammoni?m)salts and the combination of amine ammoni?m salts,the sulfide flotation behavior of malachite have been studied by the numbers and in depth to determine the optimal amine ammonium coupling activators.Finally,by measuring the amount of flotation reagents adsorption,SEM-EDS analysis,inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer(ICP-MS),the contact angle measurement,X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and other methods to explore the mechanism of amine ammoni?m coupling activators.In the amine(ammonium)salts activation of malachite flotation tests,eight common amine(ammonium)salts activation of malachite have been studied by the numbers,and their activating effect as follows:ammoni?m sulfate>sal ammoniac>ammoni?m bicarbonate>ethylene diamine phosphate>ammonium fluoride>ammoni?m nitrate>ammoni?m carbonate>ammonium monohydric phosphate.Single amine(ammoni?m)salts can make malachite floating rate increased by 5 to 20 percent points,while organic combination of amine ammoni?m salts can make malachite floating rate increased by 15 to 25 percent points,which shows that the amine ammonium salts coupling activated sulfide effect is better than the single one.The use of amine ammoni?m salts shows positive synergy and their activating effect as follows:ethylene diamine phosphate+ammoni?m bicarbonate>ethylene diamine phosphate+ammonium sulfate>ethylene diamine phosphate+ammoni?m fluoride>ethylene diamine phosphate+al ammoniac>ethylene diamine phosphate+ammoni?m fluoride>ethylene diamine phosphate+ ammoni?m nitrate.When using composite activators,the performance of ethylene diamine phosphate and ammoni?m bicarbonate combination was the best with molar mass ratio of 1:10.Added the coupled amine ammoni?m activators can not only improve the floatability of malachite further,but also reduce the collector and a single amine(ammonium)salt dosage and to excess sodium sulfide has a certain resistance to inhibition.By exploring the coupled amine ammoni?m activators activation mechanism,mainly identified the coupled activators mode of action as the following aspects:?Adsorption sensitizing effect;?Phase transformation effects;?Vulcanization sensitizing effect;?Slightly soluble effect;?Hydrophobic effect.This thesis first puts forward the new concept of malachite-ammoni?m amine coupling strengthened sulfide flotation.Using ethylene diamine phosphate and ammonium bicarbonate as malachite couple activators,can significantly improve the floatability of malachite.The findings of this research improve the basic theory for the sulphidizing flotation of malachite.The results also reflect a thorough grasp of the essential distinction between sulphidization and ammoni?m amine coupling strengthened sulphidization as well as their guiding significance and practical value to the flotation of oxidized copper ore.
