Anatase in Qinglong,Guizhou,is a large scale anatase containing scandium.The original ore contains Sc2O3 84.7g/t and TiO2 5.3%.Because of the complex mineral composition and the fine granularity,it is difficult to break through with a conventional ore dressing method.Wet chemical treatment of the refractory anatase was carried out.The extraction slag containing Sc2O3585g/t and TiO2 23.12%was obtained by acid leaching and extraction.In order to further separate and enrich scandium and titanium from the extraction residue and get the corresponding products,the extraction of Scandium from extraction slag and the preparation of titanium rich materials were studied in this paper.The roasting and washing experimental study on the removal of sodium from the extractive residue shows that the single stage removal rate of sodium hydroxide?recovery rate?of sodium hydroxide?recovery rate?of sodium hydroxide?recovery rate?is up to 80.67%under the following conditions:roasting temperature 800?,roasting time 60min,liquid-solid ratio 6:1,washing temperature 25?,washing time 60min and Stirring rate 300r/min.The extractive residue is washed and deactivated by three stage countercurrent,and 87.15%of the sodium hydroxide solution with a concentration of0.35mol/L is recycled,and the water washing slag containing Sc2O3 902 g/t,TiO246.67%,TFe18.85%and Na2O 5.76%is obtainedThe experimental study on the preparation of rich titanium by hydrochloric acid leaching of water washing slag shows that under the following conditions:grinding fineness is-0.074mm content 95%,liquid and solid ratio 5mL/g,initial hydrochloric acid concentration 8.3mol/L,leaching temperature 85?,leaching time 1h,stirring speed 300r/min,high grade rich-titanium material containing TiO2 content 90.02%,Sc2O3 36g/t,TFe 0.15%,SiO2 7.54%,Al2O3 0.97%and hydrochloric acid leaching solution containing Sc2O3163mg/L,Fe41.30g/L,Al2O30.6g/L,SiO21.35g/L,HCl 90g/L can be obtained.The leaching rates of scandium and iron were 99.97%and 95.53%,respectively.The extraction of scandium in hydrochloric acid solution shows that using P204?2%?+secondary octanol?5%?+260#solvent oil?93%?under the condition of phase ratio O/A=1:1 and oscillating time 5min to extract scandium,using 6mol/L concentration of hydrochloric acid under the condition of phase ratio O/A=3:1 and oscillating time 5min to removal iron,using 1mol/L concentration NaOH under the condition of phase ratio O/A=2:1 and oscillating time 5min to reverse the extraction of scandium.The scandium rich slag containing Sc2O315.13%can be obtained.The extraction rate of scandium is 94.47%,the iron removal rate of acid washing is 84.32%,and the stripping rate of scandium is 96%.The experimental study on the extraction of iron from hydrochloric acid solution after P204 extraction was carried out.The results showed that TBP100%,O/A=1:1,5min extraction,NaOH concentration was 3mol/L,oscillation time 5min,and the Fe extraction slag containing TFe 46.86%compared with O/A=2:1 reverse extraction iron was obtained.The iron extraction rate was 84.32%and the iron stripping rate was94.78%.The concentration of HCl solution after extraction is 2.08 mol/L,which can be recycled.On the basis of the experimental research of"roasting-water washing"and"acid leaching",this paper carried out the process test of Extracting Scandium from the anatase extraction residue and preparing the titanium rich material.The results showed that the high quality titanium rich material containing TiO2 91.34%and Sc2O3 15.03%were obtained by the process of"roasting-washing-acid leaching-extraction".The scandium rich slag can further purify and prepare high-purity scandium oxide and scandium metal.The study of this paper further solves the extraction of scandium and titanium in anatase,which provides important reference for the treatment of similar low grade scandium and titanium ores or raw materials,and has important theoretical and practical significance.
