As a special by-product in the process of tobacco production,the tobacco stalk will become the infection source of pests and viruses after being discarded in the fields after tobacco leaves picking.It should be pulled out immediately after the harvest of tobacco leaves,and can be widely utilized as a resource.However,there are problems such as low recycling mechanization,low efficiency and single function of existing tobacco stalk pulling equipment,or requirements for auxiliary collection,generally characterized with poor adaptability.Therefore,it is an important link to carry out the integrated mechanized harvest and treatment of tobacco stalk in the comprehensive utilization of tobacco stalk in modern tobacco agriculture.In this paper,a mobile tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine was designed,which can complete stalk pulling,transporting,cleaning,shredding and throwing operation of tobacco stalk in one time.The tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine has effectively solved the problems of single function and low stalk pulling efficiency of the existing tobacco stalk pulling equipment.This paper has also specifically made kinematics and dynamics analysis and simulation research of the stalk pulling mechanism.The main research contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The whole machine structure and key parts of the tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine were designed.The whole machine which is mainly composed of four parts,namely,stalk pulling knife roller,conveying roller,shredding machine and hydraulic transmission system,can continuously complete stalk pulling,transporting,shredding and throwing operation of tobacco stalk and realize the non-pole speed regulation of the working parts.This paper has also selected the machine auxiliary power.(2)The kinematics and dynamics analysis of the stalk pulling knife roller were carried out,and the working parameters of the stalk pulling knife roller were determined,and the working resistance of the stalk pulling knife roller and the working mechanism of the stalk pulling transverse knife were studied and analyzed.The motion simulation and modal analysis of the stalk pulling knife roller were carried out,which verified the rationality of the working parameters and the knife roller structure design.(3)The discrete element simulation analysis of the stalk pulling knife roller wascarried out.The simulation model of the rotary tillage blade soil cutting simulation and the stalk pulling knife roller tobacco ridge cutting simulation models were established respectively by using the discrete element software EDEM,and the process of soil particles destruction and soil throwing under the action of the rotary tillage blade and the stalk pulling knife roller were studied The cutting force,torque and power consumption of the rotary tillage blade and stalk pulling knife roller in the cutting process were obtained.(4)The single factor experiment and Box-Behnken response surface experiment were carried out on the prototype.Through single factor test,the influence of the stalk pulling and shredding machine forward speed,the rotating speed of the stalk pulling knife roller,the rotating speed of the conveying roller and the rotating speed of the shredding machine on the experiment indexes of the tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine were obtained to determine abetter operation level of each factor.On the basis of single factor experiment,the four factors of Box-Behnken response surface experiment was carried out on the tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine,and the mathematical model of each experiment index was obtained.Through response surface analysis and parameters optimization of the experiment results,and the optimum working parameters combination of the tobacco stalk pulling and shredding machine was obtained.
