The ZSG oilfield is typically of low permeability.Although it has been developed for more than 30 years, the development effect is still poor.In the oil field, the structure is an anticline complicated with faults;the traps are mainly complex fault blocks and lithologic traps;the reservoir rocks are fine and medium sandstones with low porosity and low permeability, where oil groups ? and ? in the E1-2b3 formation are distributed relatively stable, and the sandstone is 15m to 30m thick, but other oil groups vary much laterally;the reservoirs are structural and lithologic, with complicated fault blocks and at small scales, where oil and gas layers are interbedded with each other without unified oil-water contact, and the edge and bottom water energy is weak.As the E1-2b3 formation in the ZSG oilfield has complicated reservoir relationship,at low pressure, with low permeability and insufficient energy, many works have been done in fine stratigraphic correlation, fine structural interpretation, reservoir evaluation, improving 3D geological model, and identifying the scales of oil and gas reservoirs, etc.for fine reservoir description, investigation on the distribution of remaining oil and gas,and analysis of exploration potential of oil and gas reservoirs. These works provide a geological basis for updating the development program, and solving the problem of low-efficiency development of the ZSG oilfield. In the study, using core, logging, seismic, production and dynamic monitoring data, and theories of geology, geophysics, petrophysics, reservoir physics and other disciplines, geological features such as rock structure, reservoir and fluid, have been analyzed and evaluated, remaining oil resources have been quantified, and finally favorable exploration targets are proposed. The remaining potential of the reservoir is concentrated in the ? layer of the N26 well area and ?4 layer in the N18 well area with low development degree. The remaining potential of natural gas is concentrated in the Z7 block. In areas with large residual oil potential of ? layer, the potential can be developed by improving the pattern of injection and production wells. On the other hand,In low porosity and low permeability reservoirs of?4 layer, the overall fracturing is needed.
