Research On The Improvement Of M Company's Tobacco Raw Material Supply Process

With the development of economic globalization,China's economic,political,and social development has entered a new normal.During this period,the tobacco industry,as a special and important component of the national economy,is also faced with a new normal,which means increasingly stringent tobacco control and development environment,the tightening of market demand in high-price and high-end cigarette market,and the increasing difficulty of upgrading structural,as well as the fall in cigarette prices,industrial and commercial tax profit entering rapid growth from medium-to-high growth.The way tobacco companies to take the initiative in adapting a new normal by taking advantage of existing institution and market,take more attention to adjust mode and structure,and build a modern tobacco company is crucial to switching the development method.For cigarette manufacturing enterprises,tobacco leaf raw materials are necessary for building market-oriented core competitiveness,realizing transformation development,and occupying the stock market to achieve long-term development.Under the background of controlling gross and planned allocation of tobacco leaf,how those industrial companies plan resources based on limited tobacco leaf to establish a tobacco leaf supply process with stable quality,consistent structure,sufficient quantities,company's brand characteristics,as well as the realization of Intensive development has become an important issue faced by the cigarette industry,who should improve raw material security work.In this paper,the author will take the opportunity of the legal entities construction promotion made by M Company's tobacco leaf raw material supply department,using the relevant knowledge about process management in supply chain to sort out and analyze the tobacco leaf raw material supply process,finding out the core processes.Then the author will design process improvement solution using ESIA and fishbone diagram analysis methods according to the principle of Hammer's process optimization,aiming at some problems which affect tobacco leaf supply,quality control,operational efficiency and cost control,during those process including base management,tobacco leaf procurement management,quality control,outsourcing and information management,improving the efficiency of raw material procurement operations and capability of raw material supply,in order to provide decision support for tobacco leaf usage departments and achieve rapid response,and ultimately establish foundation for the M company to build core competitiveness and accomplish the high-quality development goals which is abreast of the times.
