Needle-punch nonowoven fabrics are widely used in geotextiles,filter materials,synthetic leather substrates,etc.Traditionally,it has some limitations,such as low density and obvious needle marks so that it is limit to applied in super-fiber synthetic leather substrates.This paper studies the preparation methods of high shrinkage polyester(HSPET)fibers first.With high shrinkage polyester resin as the material,through FTIR,DSC,TG,intrinsic viscosity and capillary rheological tests,its thermal and flow properties were characterized.Again,with high shrinkage polyester resin as the material,spun high shrinkage polyester fibers using melt spinning method with the optimum spinning conditions concluded:the temperature of screw first zone,second zone,third zone and fourth zone,and of flange,box and shaft were 295?,300?,305?,310?,3310?,320? and 315? respectively.The speed of the three-stage winding roll each as 282 m/min,550 m/min and 560 m/min,and the temperature was 600C,600C and 100C respectively.The as-spun fibers,the fibers with,1.5 and 2 times drawingsw ere tested for size,tensile properties,degree of orientation by sonic velocity method,-ray diffraction,ageing stability and thermal shrinkage.The mechanical propertiesa nd thermal shrinkage of the fibers were analyzed,obtaining that the optimumd rawing ratio of the fibers was.5 times.At this time,the dry thermal shrinkage ratee f HSPET fiber was 43.9%,the boiling water thermal shrinkage rate was 32.8%,the reaking strength was 2.13cN/dtex,the breaking elongation rate was 60.86%,the rystallinity of the fiber was 21.3%,and the orientation degree was 0.72.The fiber ad a smooth surface and regular cross section with low crystallinity and higho rientation structure,and the HSPET fiber had good ageing stability.This paper studies application of high shrinkage polyester fibers in super-fiber ynthetic leather substrates.With high shrinkage polyester fibers and olyester/polyamide sea-island composite fibers as the material,prepared eedle-punch nonowoven fabrics with high shrinkage polyester fibers/sea-island fiber omposite fibers in different blending ratios.The optimum splitting conditions were btained by orthogonal experiment on splitting of sea-island composite fibers NaOH omposite fibers.The results were:temperature was 95?,NaOH concentration was 0g/L,and the splitting time was 40 min.Needle-punch nonowoven fabrics with ifferent blending ratios were treated by thermal treatment and splitting of NaOHunder the optimum splitting conditions,forming the high-density needle-punch nonowoven fabrics.Tensile properties,tearing properties,thermal shrinkage,air permeability,moisture permeability,crease-recovery,drapability,porosity and testing by using microscopy of needle-punch nonowoven fabrics with different blending ratios before and after treatment were tested.The results showed that when the ratio of sea-island composite fibers to high shrinkage polyester fibers was 7:3,the blended needle-punch nonowoven fabrics after treatment was of the best compactness.Their longitudinal breaking strength and tearing strength of were 148.5N and 34.2N,and the transverse breaking strength and tearing strength were 75.3N and 65.4N,and their air permeability and moisture permeablility were 603.5L/(m2·s)and 90g/(m2·h).The super-fiber synthetic leather with such needle-punch nonowoven fabrics as the material has excellent mechanical properties,and its air permeability is 113L/(m2·s).
