On the basis of informationization development,there is an important issue that the large-scale manufacturing enterprises have gradually promoted the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries,while the issue is urgently needed to be solved.For that reason,many enterprises try to carry out ERP project to allocate enterprise resources and enhance the market competitiveness.However,how to control the key factors,prevent risks,and make the ERP project successful is very important thing in the implementation process of ERP project.Then there is no clear answer to this question in theory and practice now.The thesis is based on the theory of critical success factors,and using research methods,absorbing the experience of the existing maturity scale,designing the related questionnaire,as well as,providing scientific data to support and effective description to determine success factors of ERP system.On that basis,choose the implementation of ERP project in Baotou Steel Company as the research object,summarize the implementation and application of the project,and study the critical success factors of the ERP project implementation.The result shows that there has been five key factors as the critical success factors of the ERP system implementation.The factors are enterprise culture construction,staff education and training,management decision-making and support,business process restructuring and integration,and project management.In brief,the enterprise culture construction promotes the employee's devotion to work and the spirit of seeking truth from facts,so that the problems encountered in the implementation of the project can be solved quickly.The staff education and training can improve the management ability and application technology of the employee,so as to improve the progress and efficiency of project implementation.The management decision and support can increase the importance of the project manager,so that the business change and thought transformation in the project implementation can be effectively dealt with.Carrying out business process reorganization and integration can improve the innovation ability of enterprise operation and management,so that the results of the project implementation match the actual business requirements.The whole-process management of the project can improve the management mechanism and technical index of the system,so as to ensure the quality and progress of the project implementation.The conclusion also provides a theoretical basis for the successful implementation of ERP project.
