With the development of computer finite element simulation technology,this technology has been widely used in various fields,but the accuracy of simulation depends on the constitutive model of the material.Therefore,the study of the constitutive relation of materials has become a hot topic in various fields.Beryllium has good mechanical properties,widely used in aerospace and other high precision fields and widely used in precision instruments of gyroscopes.Some basic physical performance parameters of beryllium materials under room temperature can be obtained from relevant data,but the mechanical properties of the material under high temperature and high strain rate and the study of constitutive relation is not perfect.The mechanical properties and constitutive relations of beryllium materials are studied in this paper,the main research content of this paper includes:Firstly,the quasi-static compression test at room temperature was carried out by universal material machine,obtained stress and strain relation of beryllium materials at room temperature and low strain rate,ananlyzed the relationship of stress and strain with strain rate of beryllium,the results indicate that under the condition of low strain rate at room temperature,the stress strain of beryllium material does not change obviously with strain rate,it can be considered that beryllium is not sensitive to strain rate.Secondly,high temperature and high strain rate are the change conditions,tested the hopkinson press bar of beryllium,studied the effects of temperature and strain rate on the stress of beryllium,established a function to fit the test data,drawned the strain curve of the material,the results indicate that Under high temperature and high strain rate conditions,Beryllium material has experienced the elastic stage and the plastic stage,there is no obvious yield stage,but there is strain hardening.Then,according to the results of quasi-static and hopkinson press bar test,established the j-c constitutive model relation of beryllium material,by using the constitutive relations carried out the finite element simulation of the quasi-static and hopkinson compressive bar experiments,Results the error of stress-strain relation and test value is less than 20%,verified the correctness of constitutive model.Finally,use ABAQUS,Import the constitutive model of beryllium material,applicated to orthogonal cutting test,carried out the finite element simulation of cutting,Can guide production practice,Saving time and cost to some extent.
