The kingpin module of semi-trailer is a device which connects semi-trailer and tractor.Its welding quality is related to the safety and reliability of the semi-trailer.The traditional production mode of kingpin module is to use manual positioning and clamping,and weld all welding points,which is difficult to control the welding quality.Therefore,in order to improve the welding quality of kingpin module,this paper proposes the unmanned automatic assembly and welding of kingpin module for the first time,and develops a robot automatic welding system for kingpin module welding.ANSYS is used to optimize the structure.The 3D model of semi-trailer kingpin module is established.Four different working conditions are simulated by ANSYS.The performance and strength of the kingpin module are analyzed by finite element method,and the structural parameters are optimized according to the analysis results..Automatic assembly accuracy control.This paper analyzes the causes of the automatic assembling clearance of kingpin module,and controls the automatic assembling accuracy of kingpin module robot from three aspects:improving the machining accuracy of parts,enhancing the stability of visual recognition,and improving the positioning accuracy of parts.The automatic welding technology of robot is studied from arc tracking,welding waveform selection and welding parameters control.Optimize automatic welding process parameters.The optimization of welding process parameters,such as welding power supply,welding seam tracking mode and welding wavefomi,is studied from the aspects of welding swing,wire dry extension length,wire feeding speed,etc.to obtain the most suitable process parameters for automatic welding of kingpin module robot.Based on the above analysis and research results,the kingpin module is tested on the kingpin module automation cell.Through trial production,the problems found in the actual production process are solved and optimized and improved.Finally,automatic welding of traction module achieves stable batch production status.
