Because the working environment in the underground is very bad,the leakage caused by the seal failure,the premature failure of the seal ring,etc.occur frequently during the oil drilling process.Therefore,in order to lay a good foundation for the optimization of the sealing ring,it is necessary to analyze the sealing characteristics.This paper begins with the analysis of the influence of multiple working conditions,material hardness,structural parameters and initial compression on the sealing characteristics of slip ring combined seals,and summed up the relevant rules and conclusions.Then,the wear of ring was analyzed by the experiment,and the influence of the wear amount on the sealing performance of the seal ring was analyzed.Based on the analysis of the sealing characteristics,the structural parameters of the slip ring combined sealing ring are optimized to improve the sealing performance.Based on the above,this paper studies the sealing performance of the slip ring combination seal in the following aspects:1.According to the structural composition of the slip ring type seal ring and the characteristics of each component,the sealing structure and sealing mechanism are studied.2.The finite element analysis was carried out by software ANSYS,and the pressure distribution of the main sealing surface of the slip ring combined seal was calculated.The influence of the initial compression amount,working condition parameters,material parameters and partial structural parameters of the sealing ring on sealing characteristics were studied,and the influence law of the contact pressure of the seal ring end face was analyzed.3.The slip ring combined sealing ring was tested and the test bench was built.The actual wear condition was tested by experiment,and the influence of the wear amount on the performance of the slip ring combined sealing ring was analyzed.4.Based on the response surface method,the structure of the slip ring combined seal is optimized.The thickness of the slip ring,the depth of the sag,the radius of the slip ring and the width of the lubrication groove are determined as design variables.The contact pressure is as the optimization target.The leakage surface model was established by Box-Behnken experimental design method.The influence of interaction between parameters on sealing performance was obtained.The model was evaluated based on F test,coefficient of variation and complex correlation coefficient.The feasibility of the model was analyzed.5.Through the regression model to optimize the processing,the optimal structural parameter combination of the slip ring combined sealing ring is obtained,and the performance of the slip ring combined sealing ring before and after optimization is compared and analyzed.The results show that the sealing performance is effectively improved.The maximum contact pressure of the sealing end surface is reduced by 5.7092MPa,the maximum contact pressure of the main sealing surface is reduced by 6.4059MPa,and the seal leakage is reduced by 29.5627x10-3mm3/s,and the contact pressure distribution was more uniform.
