Rare Earth Doped Alkaline Earth Metal Oxide Multi-wavelength Light-excited Luminescence Properties

Photo-stimulated luminescence?PSL?material is a special kind of photoluminescence material.It can store part of the energy after radiation by ultra violet or visible light.After removing the light source,the energy would be released under the Near infrared?NIR?photo-stimulation,subsequently short-wavelength and visible emission should be shown.That is the PSL phenomenon.Due to high storage information,short reading time,different secondary emission with time resolution,PSL material has potential application prospects in many fields and attracted gradually extensive attention from scholars.In alkaline earth metal oxides,the polychromatic PSL materials are synthesized by doping different rare earth ions and tunable defect structure.The main contents are as follows.?1?By the Nd³⁺co-doped,we have achieved blue PSL which peak position is at 430 nm in Ca Al₂Si₂O₈:Eu²⁺/Eu³⁺.The PSL properties of Ca Al₂Si₂O₈:Eu²⁺/Eu³⁺,Nd³⁺are optimized by the controlling of defect state.Moreover,by the coupling of luminescence and PSL performance,the multiple anti-counterfeiting applications are shown.?2?The green PSL is achieved in Ba₂Ga₂Ge O₇:Tb³⁺,Bi³⁺.By the difference between the photo-stimulated luminescence and photoluminescence,we discuss the different transmission paths of the carriers in Ba₂Ga₂Ge O₇:Tb³⁺,Bi³⁺.?3?A red photo-stimulated luminescence phosphor of Ba Zr Ge₃O₉is achieved by Pr³⁺ions doped.In addition,the defect structure of this material is explored.The defect structure and luminescent properties of PSL materials above room temperature are studied and their practical applications are preliminarily explored.
