The dump is a place where the mine discharges waste intensively, and it is an indispensable structure for the mine.Especially, the stability under rain conditions is directly related to the safety of the mines. Therefore, the research on its permeability and stability under rain conditions is very important.necessary.Based on the design and construction data of the Dapo 2 # dump site, the paper understands the evolution process of the Dapo 2 # dump site under rainfall conditions through the study of the mechanical parameters of the dump soil and the rainwater infiltration law,and provides a theory for the stability of the dump site Support, and take technical measures to provide technical support. This paper analyzes the seepage field of the dump site under rainfall conditions by field investigation, sampling, and indoor test of the Dapo 2 # dump site, and using the large-scale general-purpose finite element simulation software ABAQUS fluid-solid coupling module.Seepage process, and the effects of different rainfall intensities and rainfall duration on the mechanical parameters of the dump site;the large-scale simulation analysis software FLAC3D was used to analyze the stability of the dump site at different rainfall intensity and rainfall duration. The main research contents and research results are as follows:(1)Through the field survey of the dump site, observe the damage caused by rainfall to the surface of the Dapo 2 # dump site, select a suitable place for sampling, and perform field experiments and indoor tests to determine the mechanical parameters of the dump site. The percolation simulation and stability simulation analysis provide parameter basis.(2)Based on Darcy's law, theoretically discuss the saturated seepage and unsaturated seepage in granular media, and understand the theoretical support of seepage in dump sites.(3)This paper takes the soil dump 2-2 profile as the research object, and uses ABAQUS software to complete the modeling. The rainwater seepage inside the soil dump under different rainfall conditions is analyzed, and the same rainfall intensity is analyzed.,The impact of different rainfall duration on the dump. The research shows that 1)the heavy rainfall will only cause damage to the surface of the dump site and have a small impact on the interior;2)the rainfall duration has a greater impact on the overall stability of the dump site than the rainfall intensity; With the increase of rainfall duration, the plastic area of the dump is continuously expanding, first appearing at the foot of the dump, and then the higher step of the dump;4)the displacement has been increasing with the increase of rainfall duration,The displacement also increased for a period of time after the end of the rainfall.5)The pore water pressure of the dump site continued to increase during the rainfall phase, and the pore water pressure began to decrease after the end of the rainfall.(4)Using FLAC3D software to analyze the stability of the dump site under rainfall conditions,it is concluded that with the increase of the rainfall duration, the safety factor of the dump site has been decreasing, and the safety factor has also increased after a period of time The decrease indicates that the stability of the dumping site has a certain time delay, and once again proves that the rainfall duration is the most critical factor affecting the stability of the dumping site.
