SiCp/Al composites have excellent physical properties such as high specific strength,high specific stiffness,low coefficient of thermal expansion and low density,good thermal conductivity and high wear resistance,making them suitable for aerospace,aerospace,optical,and electronic devices and other fields are widely used.Due to the special mechanical properties and composition of aluminum matrix composites,it is extremely difficult to process and shape.With the traditional machining method,there are usually many problems such as large cutting force and severe tool wear.Therefore,the traditional processing method can not meet the application requirements of the material.In this paper,the ultrasonic vibration drilling method is used to improve the difficult machining of deep hole drilling of SiCp/Al composites.In this paper,SiCp/Al composites are selected as the research object,and the mathematical model of ultrasonic vibration drilling of this kind of material is established.The basic theory of ultrasonic vibration drilling to improve the machining quality in chip removal effect,surface roughness and exit burr is also studied.The ultrasonic vibration based on DEFORM is established.Drilling process simulation,analysis and comparison of the cutting force and torque variation of ordinary drilling and ultrasonic vibration drilling;theoretical analysis of the vibration characteristics of the sandwich composite horn piezoelectric ultrasonic transducer,obtained the transduction The vibration velocity distribution equation,stress distribution equation and resonance frequency equation are given,and the size parameters of the transducer are given.The designed transducer is simulated by finite element software to verify the correctness of the design theory.Design and processing ultrasonic vibration drilling device and then establish an ultrasonic vibration drilling experimental platform for SiCp/Al composite materials Ultrasonic vibration cutting and drilling experimental research axial force and changes of surface roughness,compare experimental results and draw conclusions.The results show that ultrasonic vibration drilling has a strong advantage in reducing axial force and improving drilling stability,which will indirectly improve drilling efficiency;in addition,ultrasonic vibration drilling can effectively reduce the surface roughness of the hole and improve the processing quality.
